The 2020 Oris Divers Sixty-Five Sunset Brown pairs a 40 mm steel case with a brown-to-gold gradient dial, bronze bezel details and, on one version, a steel-and-bronze bracelet. Its Calibre 733 movement has a 38-hour power reserve. This is a launch-era Divers Sixty-Five, not a Calibre 400 model; its historical pricing and current availability should be treated separately.
What makes the Sunset Brown distinctive?
The defining feature is the dial: dark brown at the edge, shifting toward a warmer golden centre. Fratello reviewer Ben Hodges described the effect as having “rekindled my interest in the Sixty-Five range” in his December 14, 2020 hands-on review. That is a personal impression, but it captures why this version stands apart from more conventional black- or blue-dial Divers Sixty-Five models.
The dial is paired with beige lume and rose-gold PVD-coated brass hands and marker surrounds, according to Fratello. The Watch Observer likewise describes gold-tone PVD-treated hands. Around it is a unidirectional bronze bezel with a black aluminum insert. The warm dial and bronze elements give the watch a more vintage-inspired, tonal look than a typical monochrome dive watch.
Case, dimensions and water resistance
The Sunset Brown is reported with a 40 mm case, 48 mm lug-to-lug length and 12 mm thickness. Its lug width is 20 mm. The domed sapphire crystal has anti-reflective coating on the inside; the crown and caseback screw down. Sunset-specific reporting gives the watch 100 m water resistance.

That 100 m figure comes from reporting on the Sunset Brown itself. Oris’s official page for a related Divers Sixty-Five Calibre 733 reference lists 10 bar, but it is not the exact Sunset Brown reference; the page should not be taken as an official specification page for this particular watch: Oris Divers Sixty-Five Calibre 733 reference 01 733 7707 4354-07 8 20 18.
Movement and everyday function
Inside is Oris Calibre 733, identified by Fratello as based on the Sellita SW200-1. The reported specification includes hacking seconds, a date at 6 o’clock and a 38-hour power reserve. The Watch Observer also reports a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour.

That reserve and movement distinguish the Sunset Brown from the separate modern 40 mm Divers Sixty-Five 12H Calibre 400. Oris’s US product page for that different reference lists a 120-hour power reserve and 10 bar water resistance; those are not Sunset Brown specifications. See Oris Divers Sixty-Five 12H Calibre 400 reference 01 400 7772 4054-07 5 20 82.
Bracelet and strap versions
The bracelet version combines steel outer links with bronze centre links, continuing the case’s warm-metal accents. A dark brown leather-strap version was also offered. The launch-era references reported for these configurations are:

The 20 mm lug width makes a 20 mm strap a plausible starting point when considering a replacement. Width alone does not confirm end-link, buckle or attachment compatibility, so check those details against the specific watch and strap before ordering.
Historical price and current availability
Prices reported at launch in 2020 were €2,100 for the bracelet version in both Fratello and The Watch Observer, and €1,900 for the leather version in The Watch Observer. These are historical euro prices, not current retail prices or an indication of resale value. The exact Sunset Brown’s current official price and availability have not been established.

How to identify the right Sunset Brown
When searching listings or comparing references, use the full reference rather than the broad “Divers Sixty-Five” name. That helps distinguish the bracelet and leather Sunset Brown versions from other Sixty-Five watches, including Calibre 400 models. For historical model context, see the 2020 reports from Fratello and The Watch Observer.
