Oura Ring 4 Ceramic is a zirconia-ceramic version of Oura’s Ring 4, introduced in October 2025 in four finishes. What is Oura Ring 4 Ceramic?
Oura announced Ring 4 Ceramic on October 1, 2025. At launch, the collection came in Cloud, Tide, Petal and Midnight, in sizes 4 through 15, at a US price of $499. Those are launch details, not a promise about current stock or price; check Oura’s product page for current purchase information.
Oura describes the exterior as high-performance zirconia ceramic. The company says it chose the material for its scratch resistance, luster and color. Those are Oura’s material claims, not the results of an independent comparative durability test.

Oura says the Ceramic edition shares Ring 4 technology, including Smart Sensing. The launch blog stated battery life of five to eight days; that is Oura’s product specification, not a guarantee for every wearer or an independent test result. The available information does not establish that the Ceramic finish changes tracking accuracy.

What are Oura Health Panels?
Health Panels is a separate lab-testing service available through the Oura App. Oura says members can schedule a blood test, track 50 blood biomarkers and view results alongside Oura insights. Testing is provided through Quest Diagnostics and SteadyMD, and Oura says members can share results with a healthcare provider. It is not a feature exclusive to the Ceramic ring.
The service combines lab results with information from the ring, but an association between a blood marker and ring data does not by itself prove that one caused the other. Health Panels provides test results and educational or personalized insights; neither the ring nor the service should be treated as diagnosing or treating a condition.

How much do Health Panels cost, and who can get them?
Oura’s Health Panels support article, last updated August 10, 2026, lists the test at $74.25, usually $99. It also says testing is HSA/FSA eligible, subject to the rules of a member’s plan or employer. Oura lists more than 2,000 participating Quest locations in the United States. Prices and appointment availability can change.
- Appointment scheduling is for members aged 18 or older with an active Oura membership and a Gen3 or later ring.
- Lab appointment scheduling is available in the US, excluding US territories. Oura lists Arizona, New Jersey, New York and Rhode Island as states where biomarker testing is not currently available.
- Oura’s feature-availability page lists Health Panels in the United States and notes that regional availability may change.
- Outside the US, appointment scheduling is not available through this offering. Oura says members in supported countries can upload a PDF of existing lab results instead.
What to know before choosing the Ceramic ring
The practical distinction is the exterior: zirconia ceramic rather than the standard Ring 4’s titanium design. The launch collection’s colors and its $499 US launch price are historical details, so confirm current availability and pricing on Oura’s live store page before buying. Health Panels has separate eligibility and geographic limits, and requires an active membership; it should be evaluated as a lab service, not as a capability built into the Ceramic finish.
