What is the Panerai Luminor Due PAM01539?
PAM01539 is a Luminor Due reference in polished stainless steel, with a closed steel case back and a bracelet combining polished and brushed surfaces. Its burgundy sun-brushed dial gives the watch its defining look; Panerai specifies luminous Arabic numerals and hour markers, a date display at 3 o’clock and small seconds at 9 o’clock. Panerai’s regional product page is the primary reference for its published specifications.

The 50 mm lug-to-lug measurement and 10.7 mm thickness are useful alongside the 42 mm diameter when assessing fit: case diameter alone does not describe how much wrist space the watch occupies. Those two measurements are Fratello’s, rather than Panerai’s published figures in the source cited above.
Bracelet, quick release and the included strap
The steel bracelet attaches with Panerai’s PAM Click Release System. Panerai’s 2024 catalogue identifies a black rubber second strap for the 42 mm, 5-bar model group that includes PAM01539. That makes the rubber option a documented companion, not a basis for assuming any generic strap will fit the proprietary release arrangement. Check the exact reference and connector compatibility before buying an aftermarket strap. The catalogue also explains Panerai’s sandwich-dial construction for the model group. Panerai’s 2024 catalogue provides that group-level information.

How PAM01539 differs from PAM01424
PAM01424 is a related Luminor Due with a burgundy dial, but it is not the same bracelet configuration: Fratello’s February 2025 launch article describes PAM01424 on leather and PAM01539 on bracelet with an additional black rubber strap. The same article described PAM01424 as a China boutique exclusive at that time. Treat that exclusivity statement as time-bound reporting, not confirmation of current availability or distribution.
