Nic von Rupp and Clément Roseyro won Best Team Performance, Roseyro took the men’s award, and Justine Dupont won the women’s award.

The 2025 contest was the eighth edition, according to the retrospective event overview from Nazaré Big Waves Surf. Its recap describes a day of tow-surfing action, with some waves exceeding 10 meters. That figure is the publication’s description of the event, not a measurement assigned to any particular photograph.
SURFER’s gallery identifies competitors and scenes from the February 18 event. The names in its captions include Nic von Rupp, Clément Roseyro, Michelle des Bouillons, Pedro Vianna, Lucas Chianca, Andrew Cotton, Rafael Tapia, Justine Dupont and Kai Lenny, as well as a lineup and event-site image.

These results are reported by Nazaré Big Waves Surf for the February 18, 2025 event. The available event coverage does not establish score totals for these awards, so none are included here. It also reports that more than 50,000 people attended, attributing the figure to the event organization; that attendance number is not an independently verified count.

The February 18 competition is not the later 2025–26 edition. A Município da Nazaré report published on December 13, 2025 describes an event held “today” and says competition ended after communication problems associated with a headland power failure; the results then standing were homologated after Round 1. Those circumstances belong to the later event and do not describe the February contest. The February recap instead reports a completed competition and its three award winners.
