Is a Pita Barcelona Carousel available on JamesEdition?
At the time of this check, JamesEdition’s Pita Barcelona Carousel page reports zero watches for sale. The page offers a “Create Search Alert” option to notify shoppers about similar listings. A search alert is a way to monitor future listings, not evidence of a current offer.
A specialist dealer’s page for one Carousel example is marked sold out (dealer listing). Neither page establishes current availability; confirm the status directly with a seller if a listing appears.
What makes the Carousel distinctive?
The Carousel’s defining feature is its rotating movement. The 2011 profile from the Académie Horlogère des Créateurs Indépendants describes it as an “automatic watch with 12-hour self-axis rotating movement.” In other words, the movement turns around its own axis over a 12-hour cycle, rather than remaining in a conventional stationary arrangement. AHCI places the watch among Aniceto Jiménez Pita’s mechanically innovative, crown-free designs and notes his patented time-setting mechanism (AHCI profile).

Published specifications and prices are example-specific
Details published for individual Carousel watches should not be treated as specifications for every version. The sold-out dealer example is described as a 40 mm 18K yellow-gold watch with a white dial, one hand for a 24-hour display, and a self-winding movement based on a modified ETA 2678; its year is listed as unknown (dealer listing).
A 2014 review gives a different level of detail for the model: a 40 mm by 8 mm case and a Pita-002 movement based on ETA 2678. It reports a historical price of €14,100, which is not a current asking price or a present-day valuation (2014 review).
