Porsche Design describes a push-button mechanism that adjusts the 12-hour hand to local time. For a traveller, the appeal is a dedicated control for changing the displayed local hour rather than relying only on the crown. The release identifies Dubois-Dépraz as the Swiss complication specialist that manufactured the time-zone mechanism developed by Porsche Design.
The manufacturer also reports a 38-hour power reserve and a 4 Hz balance, and says the movement was tested by COSC. These details describe the published specification; they are not a guarantee of a particular rate result or reserve in every condition, and no independent timing test is established here.

What Porsche Design says about testing
The launch release describes long-term testing in accordance with Chronofiable criteria. Porsche Design says each push-piece must withstand at least 10,000 switching cycles and describes an impact test equivalent to nearly 5,000 times the candidates’ own weight. These are the manufacturer’s descriptions of test procedures and requirements, not independently verified test results for this article.

How it differs from other 1919 Globetimer versions
Specifications and prices for other 1919 Globetimer variants should not be treated as specifications or current pricing for the All Black. Porsche Design’s official March 2019 technical sheet for the related Titanium & Black model lists a €5,950 RRP and a 42 mm titanium case. A separate Titanium & Rubber product page names a Sellita SW330 movement. Those details belong to those configurations; they do not establish the All Black’s movement or present-day value.
When comparing listings, check the exact variant and reference, case finish, strap or bracelet, movement, time-zone adjustment method, water-resistance rating, and whether a price is a dated launch RRP or a current verified offer. Similar model names are not enough to establish that two watches share the same specification.
