The collaboration with Masayuki Hirota
Hirota’s role is the reason this edition carries a named supervisor rather than only the Raymond Weil collection name. The official announcement identifies him as editor-in-chief of Chronos Japan Edition and states that he supervised the edition. The global Raymond Weil announcement covers the same collaboration, and it is the best place to confirm the wording of his role. The launch copy describes the edition in promotional terms; it does not include a quotation from him, so none should be attributed to him.
Movement, power reserve and water resistance
The official Millesime Moon Phase collection page lists the following specifications: calibre RW4280, 26 jewels, 28,800 vibrations per hour, approximately 41 hours of power reserve, and 5 bar (50 m) water resistance. These are presented as specifications for the Millesime Moon Phase line, in the Japanese Millesime Moon Phase collection page.

The launch page for ref. 2145-STC-RIH01 does not itemise these figures for this specific reference. If you need movement or water-resistance data for this exact watch, confirm it against the product documentation for 2145-STC-RIH01 rather than assuming the collection-level numbers apply in full.
Price: what ¥462,000 means
The Raymond Weil Japan product listing shows ¥462,000 including tax. This is the Japanese retail price at the time of that listing. It is not a current market valuation, and it does not tell you whether the watch is in stock or what a secondary-market seller is asking. Those points were not verified for this article, and a listing or resale price should not be read as evidence of the watch’s present value.

- This is a precision panoramic large aperture moon phase automatic mechanical watch crafted by Swiss chief designer Etienne Ruffieux, inspired by the sun, moon, and stars. The intricately carved luminous moon changes once daily, fully showcasing the entire cycle of nature's waxing and waning phases. The watch has been honored with the Chicago Design Award for its outstanding original design. This is a moon phase mechanical watch, brimming with the celestial beauty of the sun, moon, and stars.
- In-house CAL.A4610 automatic mechanical movement, bidirectional automatic winding system, 28,880 vibrations per hour, 27 ruby bearings. Exquisite perlage and geneva stripes finishing, edge chamfering process, white gold plating, and engraved gold-plated brand logo. Enhanced power reserve technology delivers an extended 80-hour power reserve (twice that of standard mechanical movements). It enables more even and gradual release of the mainspring, resulting in more precise and stable timekeeping.
- The moon phase disc in Agelocer's in-house CAL.A4610 automatic mechanical movement features a precision 31-tooth structure. It advances one segment every 22.846 hours, completing a full cycle every 29.51 days to achieve a 708.23-hour lunar cycle. (Conventional moon phase discs use a 59-tooth gear, advancing one notch every 24 hours to complete a full cycle in 29.5 days, resulting in a 708-hour lunar cycle.)
- The astronomical lunar cycle is 29.53 days (708.72 hours), meaning conventional moon phases accumulate a one-day error every 2.7 years. The Agelocer moon phase watch accumulates one day of error every 4.1 years, offering greater precision than traditional 59-tooth moon phase mechanisms.
- The moon takes center stage in this timepiece. To bring it to life on the wrist, we employed precision metal engraving techniques, enhanced with an expensive platinum-plating process to render the moon's texture strikingly lifelike. To ensure the moon radiates brilliance even in darkness, we selected Swiss Super-LumiNova luminous coating. Its luminous effect cycles infinitely has no time limit. This uncompromising pursuit exists to showcase the moon's most captivating aspect as it rotates.
How the edition fits the Millesime Moon Phase line

It does not extend to the wider collection. Other references in the line are not limited in the same way according to the official pages reviewed.
