“Raymond Weil Nabucco Chronograph” describes a family of watches, not one fixed specification. The documented versions range from a 46 mm automatic Titanium chronograph to the limited-edition Cuore Caldo split-seconds model. This is a sourced model overview, not a hands-on review: the available published material does not establish personal wear impressions or independent performance testing.
What “Nabucco chronograph” means
Raymond Weil’s Nabucco instructions cover a self-winding chronograph with a screw-down crown, a start/stop pusher and a reset pusher. The chronograph measures elapsed hours, minutes and seconds; the manual also describes using its tachymetric scale to measure speed. Those instructions establish how the documented control layout works, but they are not a complete specification for every Nabucco reference.
For a prospective buyer, the exact reference matters. Case size, materials, movement and complications should be confirmed against the specific watch and its documentation rather than inferred from the Nabucco name.
Documented Nabucco variants
| Variant or reference | What the source establishes | Important qualification |
|---|---|---|
| Nabucco Titanium, described by Raymond Weil in 2009 | Steel-and-titanium automatic chronograph; Valjoux 7753 tri-compax movement; 46 mm diameter; 15.6 mm thick; 46-hour power reserve; 200 m water resistance; date display, tachymeter bezel and anti-glare sapphire crystal. The movement is specified at 28,800 vibrations per hour and 27 jewels. | These are manufacturer specifications for the particular 2009 Titanium description, not a family-wide specification sheet. Raymond Weil’s 2009 description. |
| Nabucco Cuore Caldo | Split-seconds chronograph with power-reserve indicator; limited to 500 numbered watches; 42-hour power reserve. | This is a distinct, more complex complication from the standard chronograph in the basic manual. GPHG’s consulted description does not display a publication date. GPHG’s Cuore Caldo description. |
| Nabucco Rivoluzione, reference 7810-BSF-05207 | A retailer listing identifies it as an automatic chronograph with a 46 mm case and 200 m water resistance. | These details apply to the listed reference. Check the seller for current availability, condition and included items. Tourneau’s reference listing. |
| Nabucco Rivoluzione II | Hodinkee’s 2014 model introduction identifies an RW5010 chronograph movement and a sapphire caseback through which the movement is visible. | This is historical reporting and does not establish current availability. Hodinkee’s 2014 introduction. |
How the chronograph and controls work
Starting, stopping and resetting
The Nabucco manual describes the upper pusher as the chronograph start/stop control and the other pusher as the reset control. The chronograph is intended to measure elapsed time, with hours, minutes and seconds indicated on the watch. The manual also explains tachymeter use for measuring speed; it does not establish independent timing-accuracy results.

Screw-down crown and pushers
The manual instructs owners to secure the crown and push-buttons after adjustment or use to preserve water resistance. Raymond Weil’s wording for the crown is to push it back to position 1, press lightly while turning clockwise, and screw it back in gently. Do not treat a published water-resistance rating as permission to operate the controls underwater; follow the instructions for the exact watch.
Date adjustment
Do not use the rapid date adjustment while the watch indicates between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m. The manual says the date mechanism engages during this interval, so changing the date then risks interfering with its operation.

Is a Nabucco a good watch?
The published specifications show substantial, mechanically complex chronographs, but “good” depends on the particular reference and the buyer’s needs. The large 46 mm case documented for the Titanium and listed Rivoluzione references will not suit every wrist; seek out the exact watch to judge its size and thickness in person. The Cuore Caldo adds a split-seconds function and power-reserve indicator, which makes it a different proposition from a standard chronograph rather than simply another dial variation.
The available sources do not establish independent accuracy, durability, water-resistance test results, current prices or resale performance. For a pre-owned example, assess the actual watch and seller documentation rather than treating historical specifications as a guarantee of condition.

What to verify before buying a pre-owned Nabucco
- Reference and variant: Match the reference number and name to the watch. Do not assume Titanium, Cuore Caldo, Rivoluzione and Rivoluzione II share the same movement or complications.
- Case fit and materials: Confirm dimensions and case or bracelet materials for that reference. The 46 mm, 15.6 mm figures belong to the 2009 Titanium description only.
- Movement and functions: Check whether the watch is a standard chronograph, split-seconds model or another documented configuration, and confirm its movement against reliable paperwork or inspection.
- Water resistance and controls: Ask about condition and service history, especially for the screw-down crown and pushers. A historical rating does not prove a particular used watch remains water resistant.
- Condition and documentation: Verify current condition, included items and seller terms directly. The retailer listing for reference 7810-BSF-05207 is one listing, not evidence of present stock across sellers.
- Service support: Consider whether qualified service and parts support are available for the exact reference. The cited sources do not provide current service costs or a parts-availability catalog.
