What is the Retter Mistral?
Retter Watches describes the Mistral as a thin, manually wound watch designed for dress-casual wear. Its listed dimensions are 38 mm in diameter, 42.4 mm lug to lug and 6.8 mm thick, or 7.4 mm including the double-domed sapphire crystal. The lug width is 20 mm. These are the manufacturer’s specifications; launch-era coverage has reported slightly different figures for some specifications.
The product page names three dial variants: Arctic Silver, Midas Gold and Pine Green. Retter says the first launch batch comprised 300 watches across the colorways; that figure describes the launch batch, not current production or stock.
Movement, winding and accuracy
The watch uses Retter’s Calibre 2105, which the brand says is based on the ETA 7001. It is manually wound, and Retter describes the movement as serviceable by a local watchmaker. The manufacturer gives an approximate 45-hour power reserve and an in-house regulation target of ±10 seconds per day. The target is a brand specification, not an independently verified accuracy result.

Case and dial design
Retter describes the Mistral’s case as a shell-style construction intended to retain a slim profile while accommodating its soldered lugs. The brand says this design hides seams and allows polishing of the lug edges. It also describes the dial as a five-piece construction arranged at three heights, with polished and brushed chamfers, beneath a coated, domed sapphire crystal. These construction and finishing details are the manufacturer’s descriptions rather than independent test findings.
Strap options
The listed lug width is 20 mm, so a standard 20 mm strap is a plausible aftermarket option. Time+Tide also notes that owners can use aftermarket straps; fit beyond the stated width will depend on the strap’s design. Retter says the supplied strap is dyed goat leather with an Alcantara lining and is made by Maison Jean Rousseau.

Price and availability
Retter’s product listing showed a price of $1,695 and a “Sold out” button when observed in 2026. Price and inventory can change, so check the current Retter Mistral product listing before making a decision.
For context, Time+Tide reported a $1,595 preorder price in June 2024. That is a historical launch price, not a current offer. Its report also described a limited first launch batch of 300 units, consistent with Retter’s stated first-batch figure; neither source establishes present availability.

Its preorder terms say orders are made to order, may be delayed and cannot be cancelled after the preorder period; returns are assessed case by case.
