The appointment announcement and the start of the job were more than a year apart. WatchTime reported on April 14, 2014, that Rolex had confirmed Dufour’s arrival from Zenith, while JCK covered the appointment on April 15. Both contemporary trade reports said the transition date had not yet been determined and would be coordinated with then-CEO Gian Riccardo Marini. Whom did Dufour replace?
