The more practical questions are whether a 50 mm watch suits your wrist and whether you want a very large, technically specialized Rolex. RLX titanium makes it 30 percent lighter than the experimental steel watch that inspired it, according to Rolex; it does not make the case small.
What the Rolex Deepsea Challenge 126067 is
Reference 126067 is a production Oyster Perpetual Deepsea Challenge introduced at the end of 2022. Rolex says it was inspired by the experimental Deepsea Challenge attached to James Cameron’s submersible during his 2012 Mariana Trench expedition. The commercial 126067 is a distinct watch, made in RLX titanium rather than being the experimental predecessor itself. Rolex’s model history explains that connection.
Its defining combination is a 50 mm Oyster case, black dial, black Cerachrom bezel and RLX titanium construction. Rolex describes RLX titanium as a grade 5 alloy selected for low weight and resistance to deformation and corrosion. The case and bracelet are stated to be 30 percent lighter than those of the experimental watch. That is a meaningful reduction relative to the inspiration, but the diameter remains imposing by conventional wristwatch standards.
How deep can it go, and what does that rating mean?
Rolex rates the 126067 waterproof to 11,000 metres (36,090 feet). Its official description presents it as designed to withstand extreme underwater pressure. That is a manufacturer rating and a remarkable engineering specification—not a depth target ordinary recreational divers need, nor evidence that owners should attempt to approach it in use.

- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
The pressure-management system includes Rolex’s Ringlock case architecture, a monobloc middle case, screw-down case back and crown, and a helium escape valve. The latter is relevant to saturation diving, where helium can enter a watch during decompression; it is not a general-purpose feature that makes the watch necessary for everyday wear. The rating is the headline, while the case architecture explains how Rolex says the watch achieves it.
Case, dial and bracelet: what the specifications mean on the wrist
Size and visibility
The 50 mm case is the central practical consideration. Titanium reduces weight compared with the experimental steel inspiration, but it cannot reduce the watch’s span across the wrist or its visual presence. Wrist shape, lug-to-lug reach, clothing, and personal tolerance all affect fit; no single wrist-size cutoff can determine whether it will work for you. Try it on in person if possible, ideally with the kind of sleeve or diving gear you expect to wear.

The domed scratch-resistant sapphire crystal is 9.5 mm thick. The black dial uses Rolex’s Chromalight luminescent display, and the black Cerachrom bezel has a unidirectional 60-minute scale with graduations coated in platinum. These are purpose-oriented elements: a timing bezel for elapsed time, lume for low-light reading, and a ceramic insert intended to resist scratching. The watch’s large format may make the dial easy to read for some wearers, but that does not settle the fit question.
Bracelet adjustment
The RLX titanium Oyster bracelet combines Rolex’s Glidelock and Fliplock extension systems. Rolex says the tool-free systems let the bracelet fit over a diving suit up to 7 mm thick. That flexibility speaks to its intended dive-watch use; it is not a substitute for checking how the bracelet and case sit on your own wrist.

Movement and everyday performance
The watch uses Rolex’s self-winding calibre 3230. Rolex gives an approximate 70-hour power reserve and states precision of −2/+2 seconds per day after casing. The latter is the brand’s finished-watch Superlative Chronometer tolerance, not a guarantee that every individual watch will record exactly the same rate in every position or wearing condition. Rolex explains the standard on its model page.
A roughly 70-hour reserve is useful if you rotate watches and leave this one unworn for a weekend: it may continue running, depending on its state of wind and elapsed time. The calibre is a capable modern automatic movement, but it does not change the basic ownership calculation. The 126067 is still a very large watch whose extraordinary depth rating will matter far less to most owners than comfort and daily practicality.

The 126067 makes most sense for a buyer who values the engineering story, wants a conspicuously large titanium Rolex, and is comfortable with its intended tool-watch character. It is harder to justify if your priority is a discreet everyday watch, a conventional fit, or a depth rating tied to routine recreational diving. In particular, do not treat the titanium construction as proof that a 50 mm case will wear easily: the weight advantage and the case’s physical scale are separate considerations.

Before deciding, evaluate the dimensions and function against your actual use rather than comparing depth ratings alone. A meaningful comparison with another dive watch should account for case diameter and thickness, how it fits your wrist, material and weight, legibility, bezel operation, depth rating, movement and reserve, bracelet adjustment, price, and intended use. The specifications here do not establish that a competing model is categorically better.
