Both versions share a 40 mm Oystersteel case, Rolex calibre 3285, approximately 70 hours of power reserve and 100 m water resistance. Rolex identifies it as the GMT-Master II by reference number; “Batman” is a colloquial nickname, not the model name used on its product pages.
Price and bracelet options
Rolex’s US product pages currently display the following prices for reference 126710BLNR. These are US list prices shown on the pages accessed in 2026, not a quote for every market or a secondary-market valuation.

Both configurations have an Oysterlock safety clasp and Easylink 5 mm comfort extension link, according to Rolex’s Jubilee model page, Oyster model page and official brochure. The documented distinction here is bracelet design and displayed price; there is no measured basis to rank them for comfort, durability or value.
A Rolex list price does not establish that a particular retailer has the watch in stock. Bucherer’s US Official Rolex Retailer page says availability of certain models may be limited and that retailers independently manage allocation and sales. Its page also says new Rolex watches bought from an Official Retailer come with a five-year international guarantee.

How the GMT-Master II’s second time zone works
Rolex describes the arrow-tipped 24-hour hand as tracking a reference time against the bezel’s 24-hour graduations. The local hour hand can be moved forward or backward independently through the winding crown, without changing the minute and seconds hands. This lets a traveller adjust local time while keeping the reference time displayed. The bezel rotates in either direction. What this review can—and cannot—establish
The official specifications make the reference’s central proposition clear: a 40 mm steel GMT watch with a two-colour ceramic bezel and a mechanism designed to show a reference time while allowing independent local-hour adjustment. The available evidence documents its specifications and the price difference between the two US-listed bracelet configurations. It does not establish how the watch wears, its real-world accuracy or durability, current retailer inventory, or secondary-market performance.
For buyers, the practical comparison is therefore straightforward: choose between Jubilee and Oyster based on the bracelet you prefer, and confirm the current local price and availability with an authorized retailer. The US prices above should not be treated as international pricing or as evidence of what a pre-owned example sells for.
