The available material establishes its specifications and how its GMT display works, but it does not document a month of wear. It therefore cannot support claims about comfort, daily accuracy, scratches, clasp feel, or personal experience.
What is the Rolex Pepsi GMT-Master II?
Rolex identifies reference 126710BLRO as an Oystersteel GMT-Master II with a black dial and a bidirectional, 24-hour bezel. Its red-and-blue two-colour Cerachrom insert gives the watch its familiar “Pepsi” nickname; that is a common nickname, not Rolex’s formal model name. Rolex’s brochure for reference 126710BLRO lists a 40 mm case and documents a five-piece-link Jubilee bracelet configuration.

How does the GMT-Master II track a second time zone?
The watch uses a triangle-tipped 24-hour hand and the graduated bezel alongside its conventional hands. With the bezel’s triangle at 12 o’clock, the 24-hour hand can indicate a reference time, such as home time. The regular hour hand can then be adjusted independently in one-hour jumps, allowing the wearer to change local time without stopping the watch or moving the 24-hour hand.

Rotating the bezel provides a way to read another time zone, but it shifts the bezel’s relationship to the 24-hour hand and displaces the previous reference-time setting while used that way. Rolex lists an independently adjustable hour hand, instantaneous date and stop-seconds among calibre 3285’s functions. The mechanism is documented by Rolex; no travel use or personal experience is established here.
Can you wear the Rolex GMT-Master II every day?
Its 40 mm case, Oystersteel construction and documented Jubilee bracelet describe the watch’s dimensions and materials, not how it wears on a particular wrist. Those specifications cannot establish whether the case feels large, the bracelet suits a wearer, the watch fits under a cuff, or the clasp feels comfortable. Rolex says the Easylink extension changes bracelet length by 5 mm; that explains the adjustment feature, not an individual fit.

The materials also do not record a month of ownership. There is no observed basis here for reporting scratch accumulation, comfort, sleep or activity use, clasp feel, or a wearer’s reaction.
How accurate is the GMT-Master II?
Rolex specifies finished-watch accuracy of −2/+2 seconds per day after casing. The company says it tests the movement again after casing under a protocol intended to simulate real-life wearing conditions; this is distinct from movement-level chronometer criteria. It is a manufacturer specification, not a measurement of a particular watch over a month.

Rolex calls the watch a Superlative Chronometer and says the designation includes an international five-year guarantee. In a 2026 newsroom statement, Rolex said the certification criteria had expanded to seven: precision, waterproofness, self-winding and autonomy, with magnetism resistance, reliability and durability added. These are Rolex’s descriptions of its certification; they are not an independent comparison of watch performance.
How long is the power reserve?
Rolex gives calibre 3285 an approximate 70-hour power reserve. “Approximately” matters: this is the manufacturer’s stated specification, not a recorded run-time test of an individual watch. The movement is self-winding, and Rolex lists central hours, minutes and seconds, a 24-hour display, rapid independent setting of the hour hand, instantaneous date and stop-seconds.

Is the Rolex Pepsi GMT-Master II waterproof?
Rolex states water resistance of 100 metres / 330 feet for reference 126710BLRO and specifies a screw-down Triplock crown. That figure is a model specification, not confirmation that a particular watch—especially a pre-owned example—remains water-resistant. No individual watch was inspected or tested here, so the figure should not be treated as a finding about a specific watch’s condition.
