How big is the Rolex Sea-Dweller 126600?
The case measures 43 mm across. That figure conveys the watch’s nominal diameter, but it cannot determine how it will sit on every wrist: wrist shape, bracelet fit, and personal preference matter. In Fratello’s 2017 hands-on feature, the reviewer described the Sea-Dweller as sitting between a 40 mm Submariner and a 44 mm Deepsea, while noting that the 43 mm case was not personally for him. What the 126600 offers in daily use
Date legibility and dial design
The date sits at 3 o’clock beneath a Cyclops lens. The black dial, red model name, and Chromalight display combine functional and identifying details; the red wording is the defining visual cue behind the nickname.
Movement and reserve
Rolex specifies self-winding calibre 3235 and approximately 70 hours of power reserve. The reserve is a manufacturer figure, not a duration measured in an independent test for this article.

Bracelet adjustment
The Oyster bracelet uses Rolex’s Glidelock extension system, which permits adjustment at the clasp. The helium escape valve and Rolex-rated depth capacity reflect the Sea-Dweller’s professional-diver positioning, though most owners will not need those capabilities in ordinary wear.

Fratello’s comparison places its 43 mm case between the 40 mm Submariner and 44 mm Deepsea, but the available sources do not establish a current, matched specification comparison for those alternatives. Treat that as a size reference, not a complete ranking of comfort, capability, or value.
