The Romain Gauthier Logical One Final Editions were announced in 2021 in two materials: 20 titanium watches and 20 white-gold watches. Their reported launch prices were CHF 134,000 and CHF 148,000, respectively. Those are historical announced prices, not verified current asking prices; the launch report said production would continue through 2023 and then end.
Logical One Final Editions specifications

How the titanium and white-gold versions differ
The reported distinctions are the case material and finish, the matching buckle, and the 2021 announced price. The dimensions, movement, functions, water resistance and 20-piece allocation were shared.
| Version | Case finish | 2021 announced price | Edition size |
|---|---|---|---|
| Titanium | Brushed titanium | CHF 134,000, as reported at launch in 2021; taxes and current market value are not established | 20 pieces |
| White gold | Polished white gold | CHF 148,000, as reported at launch in 2021; taxes and current market value are not established | 20 pieces |
The launch report said bespoke options fit within each material’s 20-watch run, rather than adding to the edition size. It also described a titanium or white-gold pin buckle to match the case.

How the Logical One constant-force mechanism works
The hand-wound movement uses a chain-and-fusee arrangement intended to compensate for the changing force of the mainspring as it unwinds. The chain links the barrel to a snail-shell-shaped cam. As spring torque falls, the cam’s changing radius alters the leverage applied through the chain.
In the Logical One layout, the cam, chain and barrel wheel sit on the same plane. The launch report says synthetic ruby links between steel links reduce friction. This explains the design’s intended force compensation; it is not a reported accuracy test or a quantified timekeeping result.

What “Final Editions” means for availability
Monochrome Watches’ Robin Nooy reported on 4 May 2021 that a couple of pieces would be delivered that year, with the remaining watches to be manufactured in 2022 and 2023, after which the model would be discontinued. That launch timeline does not establish current retail stock, resale availability or present-day prices.

The same 2021 report says the Logical One debuted in 2013 and received that year’s GPHG Men’s Complication Watch Prize. Fondation Haute Horlogerie describes the fusee-and-chain constant-force system as a feature of the earlier Logical One Enraged; that description concerns the Enraged variant, not these Final Editions.

The manufacturer’s Logical One owner manual describes the watch as statically water resistant to 30 metres/100 feet, advises against vigorous swimming and diving, and recommends returning a Logical One to the manufacture for service at least every three years. It says an authorised retailer can help arrange service. This is general Logical One owner guidance; it is not a Final Edition-specific warranty or a confirmation of current service pricing.
