Sam Asghari went shirtless beneath a blazer during his runway appearance at the Blue Jacket Fashion Show in Los Angeles on September 29, 2026. The event used fashion to raise awareness of prostate cancer and encourage early detection.
What Sam Asghari wore on the runway
Men’s Journal reports that Asghari removed his shirt during his appearance, while TMZ describes him walking shirtless under a blazer. Neither report identifies the blazer’s brand or model, so the outfit cannot be tied to a particular watch or fashion label.
What the Blue Jacket Fashion Show supports
The Los Angeles show brought together figures from entertainment, fashion and sports to promote prostate cancer awareness and encourage men to prioritize early detection, according to Men’s Journal. TMZ also describes the event as supporting ZERO Prostate Cancer, which focuses on research, education and health equity.
Men’s Journal identifies Johnson & Johnson as a sponsor and Bloomingdale’s as the fashion partner presenting Fall 2026 menswear from designers carried in the Los Angeles market. These details describe the September Los Angeles event as reported, rather than every Blue Jacket Fashion Show.

Why the event’s date and location matter
ZERO Prostate Cancer’s official event page lists a separate Blue Jacket Fashion Show: its tenth annual New York event on February 4, 2026. That page says the New York show benefited ZERO and was sponsored by Johnson & Johnson, with support from LISC and Man Cave. It does not document Asghari’s September appearance in Los Angeles.
The ZERO page states that “one-in-eight men” are affected by prostate cancer. That is the organization’s event-page figure published in 2026, not an independently verified estimate here. The distinction matters because the February New York listing and September Los Angeles reports refer to different events.
The awareness message behind the blue jacket
The show’s visual premise puts men’s health in a public fashion setting, where a runway appearance can draw attention to a topic that is often difficult to discuss. In a 2024 ZERO press release, Blue Jacket Fashion Show founder Frederick Anderson urged men—especially men of color—to break the taboo around conversations about their health and prostate. ZERO’s then-Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, Sherí Barros, said the partnership aimed to amplify awareness and education so men of all races could benefit from earlier detection and treatment.
