The June 17, 2025 leak got two headline details right: Samsung added Titanium Blue to the Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025), and the watch launched with 64GB of storage. But its claim that Titanium Blue would replace Titanium White did not hold up in Samsung’s U.S. catalog, which lists all four finishes: Blue, Gray, Silver, and White.
What the June 2025 leak claimed
Android Headlines reported the leak on June 17, 2025, attributing the color information to leaker Arsène Lupin. It described an expected summer launch, not an official Samsung announcement.
- Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025): Titanium Blue, Titanium Gray, and Titanium Silver; the report said Titanium White would be dropped. It also claimed 64GB of storage and a year-based product name rather than “Ultra 2.”
- Galaxy Watch8 Classic: a 46mm model in Black or White, with Wi-Fi/Bluetooth and LTE versions. The leak also pointed to the return of a physical rotating bezel.
- Galaxy Watch8: 40mm and 44mm sizes in Graphite or Silver.
Those color and configuration details were claims about an unreleased lineup. Rumored software and health features were not confirmed simply because the watches later launched.
What Samsung announced
Samsung announced the Galaxy Watch8, Galaxy Watch8 Classic, and Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) on July 9, 2025. Preorders opened that day in select markets, and general availability began July 25. Samsung confirmed the Ultra’s 64GB storage and introduced Titanium Blue; it described the Ultra as available in four titanium finishes. The U.S. announcement and global announcement establish the launch details.

In Samsung’s U.S. listings, the standard Watch8 comes in Graphite and Silver, while the Classic comes in Black and White. The U.S. June 2026 MSRP sheet lists the Ultra in Titanium Blue, Gray, Silver, and White. These are U.S. catalog facts; Samsung’s finishes, configurations, and availability can differ by market.
Was Titanium White discontinued?
Not in the U.S. lineup documented by Samsung. Titanium Blue was added, but Samsung’s U.S. Ultra product listing and June 2026 U.S. MSRP sheet include Titanium White alongside Titanium Gray, Titanium Blue, and Titanium Silver.

The best reading is that the leak’s replacement claim was incomplete: it may have reflected an early, regional, or retailer-specific assortment, but the available evidence does not establish why White was absent from that report. Samsung’s June 2026 sheet also labels some White listings “Refresh.” That is a catalog or SKU distinction; it does not prove a different exterior finish or a new generation.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Which model fits which buyer?
- Galaxy Watch8: The mainstream option if you want a choice of 40mm or 44mm and do not need the Ultra’s titanium construction or 64GB storage.
- Galaxy Watch8 Classic: The choice for a traditional watch look and physical rotating bezel. The bezel appeared in the pre-launch report; check the specifications for your market when comparing regional versions.
- Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025): The premium, larger-format option with titanium finishes, LTE, and 64GB. Samsung positions it as the more rugged model; that positioning is not an independent battery or durability test.
LTE can provide cellular connectivity away from a paired phone, but it is a separate purchase decision from Bluetooth/Wi-Fi. Carrier plan costs and activation terms vary and are not included in Samsung’s MSRP figures above. The Ultra’s 64GB may be useful for downloaded music, apps, maps, or workout content; the storage figure alone does not mean every smartwatch user needs that capacity.
