The Second Hour Mandala Mk3 is a 40 mm automatic watch with 100 m stated water resistance, a Miyota 9015 movement and a steel bracelet with tool-less micro-adjustment. Second Hour lists it at A$955; a 2025 review reported a different launch price of A$920.

These specifications are listed by Second Hour. The 100 m figure is the maker’s water-resistance rating, not evidence of dive certification.
How might it fit?
Diameter alone does not determine how a watch wears. The 47 mm lug-to-lug measurement describes the distance from one end of the lugs to the other, while 10.5 mm gives the case thickness including its crystal. Compare all three measurements with a watch you already find comfortable and consider your wrist shape; the figures do not guarantee a particular fit.
The 20 mm lug width gives you a standard measurement to use when looking for a replacement strap. Check that a candidate strap’s end and attachment design work with the watch; no specific aftermarket strap has been validated for this model.

What changed from the earlier Mandala?
Time+Tide’s review of the Mk3, published 3 March 2025, reports three changes: surface hardening increased from 800 to 1200 Vickers, the bracelet changed from nine links to seven, and the clasp gained tool-less micro-adjustment. The review describes seven dial colorways: Bull’s Eye Blue, Bull’s Eye Red, Bumblebee, Mint Fresh, Salmon, Midnight Black and Silver Blue. Availability of particular colors may vary.
The 1200 Vickers rating is Second Hour’s stated treatment specification. The brand says it helps the steel withstand everyday knocks and scuffs, but the available sources do not provide a standardized comparative test of the finished watch’s scratch resistance.

Movement and performance claims
Second Hour specifies a Japanese Miyota 9015 automatic movement with 24 jewels and a custom-decorated rotor. Time+Tide’s 2025 review gives a 42-hour power reserve and says the watch was regulated within ±9 seconds per day. Those two performance figures come from the review, not the manufacturer specifications cited here.
Water resistance, crystal and bracelet details
The watch’s 100 m stated water resistance and screw-down crown are useful specifications, but the rating should not be read as a dive certification. Choose a watch according to the intended activity and the maker’s guidance rather than treating the number alone as a guarantee for every water-related use.

The flat sapphire crystal has six layers of internal anti-reflective coating, and the exhibition back is also sapphire. The seven-link steel bracelet uses screw pins and narrows from 20 mm at the lugs to 18 mm at the clasp. Its milled clasp has push-button micro-adjustment, allowing adjustment without a separate tool.
Price, warranty and shipping
Second Hour’s product page lists the Mandala Mk3 at A$955, accessed 5 October 2026. Time+Tide’s 3 March 2025 review reported a launch price of A$920 (approximately US$570), with shipping beginning in March 2025. These are listings from different dates and sources; the sources do not explain the difference, so the earlier launch figure should not be treated as the current price.
