What does “U.S.-only” mean for these Seiko 5 Sports models?
The “U.S.-only” label describes the collection’s initial market positioning, not a continuing restriction. Seiko’s official SRPK22 product page calls it a “Seiko 5 Sports U.S. Special Creation” and says it “Initially launched exclusively in the US market, now available in select markets globally.” That statement is specific to the SRPK22; it establishes that this reference is no longer U.S.-exclusive, but does not provide a complete market-availability list for all four references.
The four references associated with this special-creation group are SRPK18, SRPK20, SRPK22 and SRPK24. The Seiko 5 Sports line itself dates to 1968 and was relaunched in 2019, according to Seiko’s June 8, 2023 anniversary release. That release provides collection background; it is not an announcement of these SRPK references.
How do the SRPK18, SRPK20, SRPK22 and SRPK24 differ?
The most useful documented distinction is the color and finish combination. Monochrome Watches reports these four variations; Seiko’s official listing independently confirms the SRPK22’s charcoal sunray dial and two-tone stainless-steel case and bracelet.

What are the published specifications for the SRPK22?
Seiko USA lists the SRPK22 as a 42.5 mm automatic watch powered by Caliber 4R36. These are manufacturer specifications, not results of independent testing.

What should buyers verify before choosing one?
- Check the exact reference. The black, blue, charcoal and brown dials correspond to SRPK18, SRPK20, SRPK22 and SRPK24 respectively in Monochrome Watches’ comparison. Confirm the reference number on the product listing and watch documentation.
- Confirm local availability. Seiko describes SRPK22 as available in select markets globally after its U.S.-exclusive initial launch; that wording does not identify every market or establish current stock for the other references.
- Do not transfer SRPK22 specifications to the other variants. The technical information above is specifically for SRPK22. The available evidence does not verify equivalent specifications for SRPK18, SRPK20 or SRPK24.
- Recheck price and stock with the seller. Seiko USA’s product page displayed $415 when checked in 2026. Price and availability can change, so this is a current listing figure, not a confirmed launch price or a guarantee of what a buyer will pay.
What is not established about the four watches?
The cited material does not provide a verified side-by-side technical specification set for all four references, or independent test results for accuracy, comfort, lume, durability or performance. In particular, a colorway comparison is not evidence that the watches are identical apart from color.
