Which watch is the “Aliens Ripley” reissue?
A 2016 video review identifies the Seiko SCED035 as the Giugiaro-designed “Aliens Ripley” reissue. That is a useful way to identify the known model, but the review is secondary coverage rather than an official Seiko specification sheet. The exact search phrase “Seiko SCED035 Giugiaro Aliens Ripley watch” therefore points to the earlier model—not to evidence of a newly released watch.

Has Seiko announced a new limited reissue?
The available official Seiko material does not substantiate a new limited Ripley reissue. Seiko’s official news index is a relevant place to check announcements, but not finding a release there is not proof that no announcement exists elsewhere. Seiko’s May 2026 announcement about limited-edition Prospex watches covers different models and does not confirm a Ripley reissue: Seiko’s May 2026 Prospex announcement.
Until Seiko publishes a matching announcement or product page, “new limited reissue” should be treated as an unconfirmed claim. No reliable source in the available material establishes a new model’s reference, launch timing, production count, price, or specifications.

What to know before buying an SCED035
Market references can help locate listings, but they are not the same as official retail pricing or a guarantee that a watch is available.
