The four Seiko Prospex Land SRPG watches reviewed in 2021 share the same reported case, movement and core features; the practical differences are their colors and included straps. The beige-and-green SRPG13K1 and blue-and-gray SRPG15K1 came on textile, while the black-and-gold SRPG17K1 and brown SRPG18K1 came on leather. Fratello reviewer Lex Stolk preferred the SRPG13K1, but the choice among them is chiefly a matter of which design suits your taste.
How the four SRPG models differ
In his April 30, 2021 review, Lex Stolk described the quartet as variations in color and strap, rather than different watches mechanically. The table reflects the review’s model descriptions and historical prices; the euro figures are launch-era prices reported in 2021, not current quotes.

Stolk described the choice as “focused on taste in colors and not money.” That is the reviewer’s view of these launch-era options, not a guarantee that price is irrelevant to every buyer. The review said the watches would be in shops from May 2021.
Shared dimensions, construction and movement
Fratello reported the following specifications for all four references. These are product figures as presented in the 2021 review, not measurements from an independent test conducted for this article.

The dimensions give a concrete starting point for judging fit, but a stated diameter alone does not determine how a watch wears; wrist shape, strap, and personal comfort matter too. The textile-versus-leather choice also changes the look and feel without changing the shared specifications listed above.
Which reference should you choose?
Choose the SRPG13K1 for beige and green
The SRPG13K1 pairs its beige dial with a beige-and-green bezel and green textile strap. Stolk favored this version and singled out the textured fabric strap as part of its appeal. That preference is a subjective review judgment, not an objective performance advantage.

Choose the SRPG15K1 for blue and gray
The SRPG15K1 combines a blue dial and blue-and-gray bezel with a blue textile strap. It is the most straightforward option of the four for someone who wants the cooler blue palette and the textile format.
Choose the SRPG17K1 for black with gold accents
The SRPG17K1 uses a black dial with gold accents, a black bezel and black leather strap. Its contrast comes from the gold details against the darker overall presentation.

Choose the SRPG18K1 for a brown-and-gold look
The SRPG18K1 stands apart with a brown dial and bezel, a gold-colored steel case and brown leather strap. Its reported 2021 launch-era price was €50 above the other three references.
Are the four Seiko Prospex SRPG watches worth the money?
“Worth it” depends on whether the shared proportions and features suit you and whether one of the four color-and-strap combinations is the one you actually want. In Stolk’s 2021 review, the value question was answered as an opinion about the models rather than a lab test or long-term durability assessment. The review’s euro prices describe that launch-era context; they cannot establish what any reference costs or whether it is available now.

Do not confuse these with Seiko’s anniversary models
The SRPG13K1, SRPG15K1, SRPG17K1 and SRPG18K1 are the four Prospex Land watches discussed here. They are not the separate models named in Seiko Watch Corporation’s February 24, 2021 announcement for its 140th anniversary: Prospex SPB213, Presage SPB223, Astron SSH093 and Seiko 5 Sports SRPG47.
