Seiko’s Tropical Lagoon editions pair the blue-and-green bezel treatment with two very different Prospex watches: the SNJ039P1 is a solar-powered analog-digital Arnie, while the SRPJ35K1 is an automatic analog Turtle. Both are listed with 200 m diver’s water resistance and 22 mm lug width; the Arnie is larger, and the Turtle uses a conventional mechanical movement.
How the two Tropical Lagoon watches differ
The shared colorway makes these editions look like a pair, but their movements, displays and case designs serve different preferences. Seiko Boutique Indonesia’s model listings provide the specifications below. Seiko’s Malaysia listing gives an SRPJ35K1 thickness of 13.2 mm, compared with 13.4 mm on the Indonesia listing, so the market-specific figure is identified in the table.

Which one suits your priorities?
Choose the SNJ039P1 if you want the solar Arnie
The SNJ039P1 is the option for someone drawn to the Arnie’s analog-digital layout and solar power. Its listed features include an alarm, a full-auto calendar through December 31, 2100, power-save function and LED light. The trade-off in this comparison is size: its 47.8 mm diameter and 50.5 mm lug-to-lug measurement are larger than the Turtle’s listed dimensions.

Choose the SRPJ35K1 if you want the automatic Turtle
The SRPJ35K1 has a conventional analog display and a 4R36 automatic movement that can also be wound manually. It adds day/date and stop-seconds functions. Its listed 45.0 mm diameter and 47.7 mm lug-to-lug measurement are smaller than the Arnie’s, but those figures alone cannot determine fit; wrist shape and personal comfort matter too.
Shared water resistance and strap sizing
Seiko’s boutique pages list both references at 200 m / 660 ft diver’s water resistance. That is a specification, not a determination that a particular watch is suitable for a specific dive: actual use also depends on condition and maintenance, especially for a pre-owned watch. Have a watch inspected if its history or water resistance is uncertain.

Both models have a listed 22 mm lug width, which is a useful starting point when looking for a replacement strap. Width alone does not guarantee compatibility: check the attachment and end shape for the specific watch rather than assuming every strap marked 22 mm will fit.
