The Serica 6190 TXD is the 2025 Tuxedo-dial version of the brand’s 6190 Field Chronometer. It pairs a black-and-beige dial with a third-color central sector, hand-applied luminous indexes and brushed hands. Published specifications include a 37.7 mm stainless-steel case, automatic Soprod M100 movement and 200 m water resistance. SERICA listed it at €1,190, but its product page showed it as sold out when indexed; check the current listing for availability.
What is the Serica 6190 TXD?
“TXD” identifies the Tuxedo-dial configuration of SERICA’s 6190 Field Chronometer. SERICA, founded in Paris in 2019 by Jérôme Burgert and Gabriel Vachette, describes the 2025 version as a return of the Tuxedo dial, updated with a third color in the central sector. The brand also specifies hand-applied indexes and brushed hands, and says the design avoids artificial patina. SERICA’s history provides the company’s background; the model’s details are on its 6190 TXD product page.

How does the TXD fit, and which bracelet size should you choose?
The 37.7 mm diameter gives the watch a compact footprint, but diameter alone does not predict how it will wear. Its reported 46.5 mm lug-to-lug length is also relevant, as are the bracelet’s available lengths. SERICA’s bracelet sizing guide gives these wrist-circumference ranges:

- Water resistant to 100m (330ft): in general, suitable for swimming and snorkeling, but not diving
| Bracelet size | Wrist circumference |
|---|---|
| Small | Minimum 15 cm |
| Standard | 16–20 cm |
| Extra-long | 19–24 cm |
The ranges overlap, and SERICA advises choosing the larger size if you are between sizes. Measure both your wrist and your palm: the bracelet must pass over your hand, and the guide also provides maximum palm circumferences. Choose the crown position—3 or 9 o’clock—when ordering rather than treating it as an afterthought.

SERICA’s product page listed the TXD at €1,190 and showed it as sold out at the time it was indexed. Price and stock are volatile, so confirm both on the current product page before making a purchase. The listed figure is not a guaranteed transaction price.
The 6190 collection provides useful context, but its prices are also page-listed rather than guaranteed current prices. SERICA lists the TXD and M.S.L. variants at €1,190, while California, Commando and Denali variants appear at €1,090 on the 6190 collection page. Compare the dial, crown option, fit and current availability alongside price; the collection label alone does not make the variants interchangeable.
What should you check before ordering?
- Stock and price: Confirm the live product page rather than relying on an indexed listing.
- Fit: Use the wrist and palm measurements in SERICA’s sizing guide, and account for the 46.5 mm reported lug-to-lug span.
- Configuration: Select the crown position and bracelet size that suit you.
- Purchase terms: SERICA states that the watch has a two-year international warranty from receipt, complimentary shipping and a 14-day return window after delivery. Check the current page for full terms and any local conditions.
How does the TXD compare with other 6190 variants?
The clearest distinction is the dial: TXD is the Tuxedo option, alongside M.S.L., California, Commando and Denali configurations in the collection. For a practical comparison, check each variant’s published movement and water-resistance details, case fit, crown configuration, bracelet sizing, price and stock. The collection page establishes the listed variants and prices; it does not establish that every specification or option is identical across them.
