What is the SERICA 6190 TXD?
The 6190 TXD is SERICA’s Field Chronometer with a tuxedo dial. Its design mixes the graphic contrast associated with a two-tone tuxedo layout with a third color in the dial’s central sector. SERICA says this configuration aims to retain contrast and readability without using artificial patina. The result is a field-watch format with a more decorative, playful face than a conventional single-color dial.
The details that give the dial its character are not limited to color: SERICA specifies hand-applied indexes, brushed hands and white Super-LumiNova. These are product specifications, not an independent assessment of legibility in use.
How big is the SERICA 6190 TXD?
Fratello reports a 37.7 mm case diameter, 46.5 mm lug-to-lug measurement and 10.4 mm thickness. SERICA also gives the thickness as 10.4 mm, including the glass. Diameter alone does not determine fit: the lug-to-lug span and the shape of a wearer’s wrist matter too.

What movement does the 6190 TXD use, and is it COSC certified?
Fratello identifies the movement as the Soprod M100, an automatic calibre that can also be wound by hand and has hacking seconds. The article reports a 4 Hz (28,800 vph) beat rate, 25 jewels and a 42-hour power reserve. It also reports COSC certification. SERICA says its professional watches are chronometer-certified in collaboration with SoProd and COSC.

COSC certification is a precision certification; it does not, by itself, establish how a particular watch will perform after years of wear or under every condition.
How water resistant is the 6190 TXD?
SERICA specifies 20 bar, and Fratello reports the rating as 200 m / 20 ATM. This is a substantial stated water-resistance rating for a field watch. The rating is not a guarantee that a watch is suitable for every water activity or remains water resistant indefinitely; follow SERICA’s care guidance and have seals checked as appropriate.

What bracelet does it come with?
Fratello reports a 20 mm-wide stainless-steel Bonklip bracelet offered in three lengths. SERICA provides sizing guidance based on wrist and palm circumference, so consult its sizing chart before selecting a length. The third color and applied indexes make the face more expressive; the 37.7 mm diameter and 46.5 mm lug-to-lug measurement give useful fit figures to compare against a watch that already suits you. The stated 200 m water resistance adds versatility on paper, while the Bonklip bracelet’s available lengths make sizing an important part of the decision.
