SERICA’s 2025 Parade Ref. 1174 Linen is a dial-focused extension of the brand’s 2024 Parade dress watch, not a new watch platform. It keeps the collection’s lugless, Stadium-shaped steel case and adds two textured dial options: Ardoise and Tobacco. The watch displays hours and minutes only, with no date or seconds hand.
What is the SERICA Parade Ref. 1174 Linen?
The Linen is the 2025 addition to SERICA’s Ref. 1174 Parade line. SERICA dates the original Parade to 2024 and describes it as the brand’s first dress watch. The Linen carries forward that model’s physical form while introducing textured dials. SERICA’s history identifies the two colors as Ardoise and Tobacco and notes that both retain twelve hand-applied polished hour markers. SERICA’s history of the collection
What makes the Linen dials different?
SERICA describes the dial relief as a rendering of linen’s cross-weave fibers. On the Tobacco model, the brand says the surface has nuanced brown-to-green tones. Twelve polished, hand-applied hemispherical markers provide the hour references; the display is limited to hours and minutes, without a date or seconds hand, according to Hodinkee’s launch report.
Ardoise or Tobacco?
Ardoise is the blue option, also described as Slate in Hodinkee’s October 16, 2025 launch report. Tobacco is the brown option, with the official product description noting brown-to-green tonal variation. The choice is therefore primarily about color and how it works with your wardrobe; the reported case and movement specifications apply to the Linen models generally.

Case, movement and key specifications
The Parade Linen retains the Ref. 1174’s distinctive lugless Stadium-shaped case. SERICA describes its shape as Stadium form; Hodinkee reports a stainless-steel case measuring 35 × 41 × 8.2 mm. Those dimensions are from Hodinkee’s October 16, 2025 launch coverage and should not be confused with SERICA’s 8.3 mm thickness figure for the original 2024 Parade.
| Specification | Parade Ref. 1174 Linen |
|---|---|
| Variants | 1174-3 Tobacco and 1174-4 Ardoise, as named in SERICA’s storefront |
| Case | Stainless steel, lugless, Stadium-shaped |
| Dimensions | 35 × 41 × 8.2 mm, reported by Hodinkee on October 16, 2025 |
| Movement | Soprod M100 automatic |
| Display | Hours and minutes; no date or seconds hand |
| Power reserve | 42 hours |
| Frequency | 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) |
| Jewels | 25, according to Hodinkee |
| Water resistance | 100 m, stated for the Linen models in launch coverage |
| Strap | Calf leather; SERICA’s product page describes a Parade pin buckle |
Specifications above are reported in Hodinkee’s October 16, 2025 launch coverage, except where the official SERICA sources are identified. SERICA explains that the case uses a sandwich construction: screws pass through the middle case and engage the bezel, increasing compression on the O-rings. This is the brand’s description of its water-resistance construction, not an independent test result. SERICA’s Ref. 1174-3 Tobacco product page
