The Spinnaker x Scottish Watches Nessie Pearl Diver is the Fleuss Automatic Nessie Pearl Diver Limited Edition, reference SP-5168-01. Its main distinction from a conventional Fleuss diver-style watch is a mother-of-pearl dial paired with a rotating disc that depicts the Loch Ness Monster. Spinnaker says the edition is limited to 650 individually numbered pieces; its US collection page currently marks it sold out.
What is the Spinnaker Nessie Pearl Diver?
SP-5168-01 is a collaboration between Spinnaker and Scottish Watches, officially named the Fleuss Automatic Nessie Pearl Diver Limited Edition. Spinnaker describes it as a 650-piece edition, with each watch individually numbered. That figure is the maker’s stated production limit, not an independently audited count of watches produced or still available. Spinnaker’s official release page gives the collaboration and edition details.
The Nessie theme is folklore-inspired design. The watch’s dial and moving disc depict the legendary creature; those details are not evidence of a real animal.
How does SP-5168-01 differ from an ordinary Fleuss?
A dial with a moving Nessie
The watch combines a mother-of-pearl dial with a separate rotating disc showing Nessie. Spinnaker’s Japanese listing says the disc rotates once per minute. The effect is a display feature rather than a conventional seconds hand: the creature moves around the dial as the disc turns. The official release also calls out luminous details and a custom luminous rotor, visible through the caseback. Spinnaker Japan’s SP-5168-01 listing describes the disc’s rotation; the UK product listing highlights the dial and design.

A Saltire-inspired bezel
The bezel carries a pattern inspired by Scotland’s Saltire flag, adding a Scottish reference beyond the Nessie imagery. Together, the patterned bezel, blue color scheme and moving dial make this a themed collaboration rather than simply a standard Fleuss with a different color.

The 150 m rating is the published water-resistance specification. The available information does not establish dive certification or suitability for professional diving, so the rating should not be treated as proof of either.

How does it compare with the earlier Scottish Watches Nessie?
Spinnaker Japan describes SP-5168-01 as the third collaboration and identifies SP-5137-01 as an earlier Nessie edition released in October 2024. The references are distinct models, not alternate names for the same watch.

Those shared specifications do not make the editions interchangeable. The movement differs, and the detailed Nessie disc, mother-of-pearl dial and Saltire-inspired bezel features described for SP-5168-01 should not automatically be attributed to SP-5137-01. Spinnaker’s feature on the earlier collaboration provides context for that model.

Is the Nessie Pearl Diver available, and what did it cost?
As of the official US collection page checked for this article, Spinnaker labels the Nessie watch sold out and displays a price of $425. That is a changeable listing, not a guarantee of current stock or a quote for another region. Check Spinnaker’s US Nessie collection for the live status.
Spinnaker’s UK pages have displayed different amounts: the product listing showed £385, while the release page showed £387. Both pages indicated sold-out status in the retrieved listings, so neither amount should be treated as a confirmed current UK price. Check the UK product page directly for any updated listing.
