What is the Studio Underd0g 03SERIES Salm0n?
The Salm0n is the first model in Studio Underd0g’s 03SERIES: a mechanical chronograph controlled by a single pusher. Independent launch coverage identifies it as reference 03SAB. The collection presents the single-pusher complication with the brand’s playful design approach.

How is the dial made distinctive?
The maker says the design draws on the shimmer of salmon skin, rather than simply using a salmon-fillet color. Its two-layer dial pairs a radial-brushed base with a coarse dégradé top layer, viewed beneath double sapphire crystals. This is Studio Underd0g’s description of the design intention.

Those are manufacturer-listed measurements and materials. Diameter alone does not determine how a watch wears: the 44.5 mm lug-to-lug span and 13.6 mm case width are also useful figures to compare against a watch that already fits you.
What movement and chronograph control does it use?
Studio Underd0g specifies a Sellita SW510 M, cam-operated, manual-winding monopusher movement. The official listing gives a 28,800 vibrations-per-hour beat rate, a 63-hour power reserve and stated accuracy of ±5 seconds per day, with Spécial / Elaboré grade. These are manufacturer specifications, not independently verified measurements.

The movement’s bridge is described by the maker as having a custom Côte de Genève finish and a ruthenium-anthracite finish exclusive to Studio Underd0g. A monopusher puts chronograph control on one pusher; the product specifications do not enumerate the full start, stop and reset sequence or register layout, so those details should not be inferred from the term alone.

Fratello’s September 15, 2024 launch report said preorders were due to open on September 17 at €1,800. It reported a limited preorder window, with the first 400 watches expected in October 2024 and later orders in January 2025. Those were historical launch terms, not current price or delivery information. The official page says orders ship from the UK and that duties or taxes may apply for some destinations; the treatment depends on destination.
Which strap size should you choose?
The watch has a 20 mm lug width, a strap that tapers to 16 mm and quick-release spring bars. Studio Underd0g names The Strap Tailor as strap maker and offers standard, small and large sizing, as well as optional Milanese mesh and leather straps.

How should you assess the Salm0n against other chronographs?
The useful comparison points are the case diameter, lug-to-lug and thickness; movement type and winding method; chronograph control layout; stated reserve; water resistance; strap width; and current price.
