What is the Studio Underd0g Pizza 01PIT?
Reference 01PIT is the first-generation Studio Underd0g and Time+Tide collaboration, also called the Hand Delivered Pizza. Its named versions include the Hand Delivered Classic Pizza and Pizza Party Pepper0ni. Time+Tide’s retailer copy says the idea “started as a joke with Rich and Andrew on April Fool’s Day 2023.” The partners subsequently made the playful concept into a functioning mechanical chronograph.
It is distinct from the later Pizza Party 2.0 watches reported in 2026; those are not reference 01PIT.

Sources disagree on the movement’s jewel count—launch coverage gives 21, while Phillips’ auction record gives 22—so that figure is best left unresolved. The listed 50 m water resistance is a specification, not a claim that the watch is suitable for every kind of swimming or water activity.

How the “Hand Delivered” release worked
The name described the original access model: buyers could obtain the watch through Time+Tide’s Melbourne studio or receive a personal handover from the collaborators at events. It was not presented as an ordinary, widely distributed launch. Historical launch coverage and Time+Tide’s product copy describe this in-person approach.

What to check when buying a pre-owned 01PIT
Because the original release was intentionally limited in how buyers accessed it, a reputable secondary-market listing may be relevant if you are looking for this reference. Assess the individual watch rather than inferring availability or value from a single auction result.

- Confirm the reference and variant. Make sure the listing is for first-generation 01PIT and identify whether it is the Hand Delivered Classic Pizza or Pizza Party Pepper0ni.
- Review condition and provenance. Ask for clear photographs, a description of the watch’s condition, and any ownership or purchase documentation the seller can provide.
- Check what is included. Compare packaging and accessories as well as the watch itself; Phillips’ catalogue, for example, specifies these details for its auction example.
- Keep geography and currency in view. A US retailer listing, an Australian-dollar historical figure, and a Hong Kong auction result describe different contexts.
- Use the seller’s terms and evidence. Verify the return policy, shipping, and any stated condition or authenticity guarantees before committing.
Choosing a replacement strap
The listed lug width is 20 mm, so a 20 mm strap is the natural size to investigate. Width alone does not establish that a particular strap will fit well or suit the watch. Before buying, confirm the strap’s width at the lugs, buckle width, taper, length, and fit with the case. Historical launch coverage names an Epsom calfskin strap from The Strap Tailor, but that does not mean every similarly sized strap is an official or tested replacement.
