Which Carrera Calibre 6 COSC does this review cover?
It covers reference WV5111.FC6350, as identified by Time+Tide. That exact reference matters: the Carrera name spans multiple designs and functions, and this watch should not be confused with Carrera chronograph references or later Carrera models.
Scholz’s hands-on review was published on 13 October 2015. Its specifications describe a polished stainless-steel case measuring 39 mm, a silver sunray-effect dial, a blue perforated calfskin strap, and a double anti-reflective curved scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The caseback is solid, according to the review’s prose.
Is it a chronograph?
No. The WV5111.FC6350 is a time-only watch. The Calibre 6 COSC name does not indicate chronograph functionality; the reviewed model has no chronograph function.

What stands out in the design?
Scholz describes the dial as balancing vivid details with more restrained finishing. A raised blue minute register and an azurage-finished seconds subdial sit against the silver sunray dial; polished, faceted indices add reflective accents. A red small-seconds hand and red “60” on the chapter ring provide stronger contrast. He notes that the italicized “Cal. 6” text inside the subdial is a slight visual distraction.
The blue perforated calfskin strap gives the watch a rally-style look. The review identifies the material and style but does not establish a compatible replacement strap width.
