How the Glassbox shapes the black dial
The domed sapphire crystal curves over the dial and its flange, bringing the outer scale into the watch’s profile. The flange carries both the minute/second markings and tachymeter scale, while the black dial uses three chronograph registers in a reverse-panda arrangement. The date adds a daily-use display alongside the chronograph functions.

TAG Heuer describes this black version as reimagined from the reverse-panda Carrera 2447 NS. That is the brand’s heritage framing, rather than an independent historical assessment. A curved crystal and scale may create a distinctive presentation, but the available specifications do not establish how legible it is in every lighting condition or whether it produces glare or distortion in use.
What its dimensions and strap mean in practice
The stated 39 mm diameter gives the case size, but the 13.9 mm thickness is also important when considering how the watch may sit beneath a cuff. The 20.7 mm lug distance is a useful fit reference for the supplied strap. It does not, by itself, establish which aftermarket straps or exact replacement parts are compatible.

The perforated calfskin strap and folding clasp make this configuration different from the steel-bracelet version of the Glassbox.
