It has no date display and uses Omega’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806. This is a specification-led look at the watch; the available evidence does not establish first-hand wear or testing.
Which black Seamaster Diver 300M is this?
Omega announced the refreshed Diver 300M range on 21 November 2024. The black-dial steel version is a 42 mm stainless-steel watch, reference 210.30.42.20.01.010. Omega’s Hong Kong collection page lists the reference without punctuation as 21030422001010. The case is steel; black aluminium is used for the bezel ring and dial. The dial’s signature wave pattern is laser engraved. Omega’s launch announcement and its Hong Kong collection listing identify the new range and model.
That distinction matters because Omega also lists 43.5 mm black ceramic Diver 300M variants, including the “Black Black.” Those are separate watches. The new 42 mm model is not an all-ceramic watch, and specifications for the larger ceramic variants should not be transferred to it.
What changed in the design?
Black aluminium instead of an all-ceramic case
The black bezel ring and dial are aluminium, set within a stainless-steel case. That gives the watch a largely black appearance while retaining a steel case construction. It is materially different from the black ceramic models Omega lists separately.

The wave dial, without a date window
The black aluminium dial carries the collection’s laser-engraved wave pattern. The black version has a no-date layout, leaving the dial without a date aperture. Time and Watches also reports a domed sapphire crystal in its overview of the 2024 models: Time and Watches’ 2024 model coverage.
A design link to the 007 Edition
Omega says the refreshed series draws inspiration from the Diver 300M 007 Edition worn in No Time To Die. The brand also says Daniel Craig wore a black steel version at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games before the collection’s formal launch. That background is Omega’s account of the design’s lineage, rather than an independent assessment.
