Galaxy Watch7 band size and compatibility
Samsung says the band connection width is 20 mm for both Watch7 case sizes. In Samsung’s compatibility guide, the Watch7 40 mm and 44 mm are both listed among watches using a 20 mm connection.

Check the exact product listing rather than relying on width alone.

How to choose a replacement band
Compare candidate bands on fit, connector construction, wrist sizing, material and care, attachment security, price, and return terms. A 20 mm label is a useful starting point, not proof that a particular connector will fit securely or sit flush on your watch.

Samsung notes that third-party 20 mm bands may not fit or connect properly on some Galaxy Watch models because of lug design. That caveat is not a categorical claim that third-party Watch7 bands do not fit; it is a reason to check the specific maker’s Watch7 fit claim and inspect the connection after installation.

Choose the right wrist size
Samsung gives these approximate wrist-circumference ranges for its band sizes:

To measure your wrist using Samsung’s suggested method:
- Wrap string or paper around the wrist where the watch will sit.
- Mark where the ends meet.
- Lay the string or paper flat and measure it against a ruler.
- Compare the measurement with the band maker’s own size chart.
How to replace a Galaxy Watch7 band
Samsung’s instructions for its Watch7 and older one-click bands use the release button built into the band connection. Other bands may use spring bars, so follow the mechanism supplied with the specific band.

- Place the watch face-down on a soft surface.
- Press the release buttons on both sides of the existing band and pull it away from the watch.
- Press the button on the replacement band while positioning it between the watch lugs.
- Release the button so the band snaps into place.
- Check that the connection is seated and gently tug the band before wearing the watch.
For a Samsung band with spring bars, Samsung says to slide the spring bar inward and pull the strap away. Do not assume that every third-party connector uses the same release mechanism. If a band needs force or does not lock securely, remove it and check compatibility rather than wearing it partially attached.

Does the 40 mm Watch7 use a different band from the 44 mm?
No. Samsung lists both case sizes with a 20 mm connection. Still check that the specific band and connector are listed for your model.
