Is it still a fan favorite?
“Fan favorite” is a characterization in the headline, not a conclusion supported here by a current audience survey or viewership figure. The documented facts are the series’ original six-season, 148-episode run and its No. 47 placement on Rolling Stone’s 2021 list; neither establishes how many people watch it today.
Is the original sitcom the same as Bel-Air?
No. Bel-Air is a dramatic reimagining, distinct from the original NBC sitcom. Peacock’s official page describes Bel-Air, but it does not confirm that the original Fresh Prince is available there. Peacock’s Bel-Air page is about the reimagining, not evidence of streaming access to the sitcom.

Where can you watch the original series?
Current availability for the original sitcom is not established here and can vary by country and change over time. Check an official streaming catalog in your territory and confirm the listing is for the original sitcom, not the dramatic Bel-Air reimagining. A complete-series DVD may be another way to revisit it, but a current edition, seller, stock status, and region compatibility have not been verified.
