Access was limited to people selected by ballot, who would descend through mud, water and darkness before reaching an underground rave. “Most inaccessible” is a playful description of the event—not a verified record among watch launches.
How the G-Shock launch was planned to work
WatchPro reported on October 6, 2026, that G-Shock planned to debut the GDG-B100 MUDMAN at an event in Cwmorthin mine, Eryri, North Wales. The report put the event chamber 1,375 feet underground and named mine-experience operator Go Below as the event partner. These were advance plans reported by WatchPro; the report does not establish that the event subsequently took place as described.
Attendance was to be limited to ballot winners. The reported route involved mud, water and darkness, with underground ravines, zip lines and abseils before participants reached the chamber. WatchPro said entries closed on October 9 and that attendees could get the watch ahead of its wider release. It did not establish that the ballot remains open or that this event can still be booked.

What was planned for the underground rave
WatchPro reported a one-off performance by drum-and-bass DJ Roni Size. The plan also involved vibration transducers, geophones and hydrophones to capture how sound travels through the mine and incorporate its acoustic character into the recording.
Size described the idea this way: “That’s the spirit I want to take into Cwmorthin. By the time we’re 1,375 feet underground, everyone there will already have shared an adventure. And how much more could you reflect the environment, than by pumping a set into the mountain, hearing the sound travelling through the slate, rock and mud, and bringing it back into the mix. It’s the most underground of underground raves ever,” he said, as quoted by WatchPro.

What the GDG-B100 MUDMAN watch offers
The Casio G-Shock GDG-B100 belongs to the MASTER OF G – LAND MUDMAN family. Casio describes it as shock-, dust- and mud-resistant and lists a MIP LCD, red LED backlight, step tracking and Smartphone Link. Its training functions include distance, speed, pace and calorie tracking, lap memory and interval timing. Casio’s product copy says the watch “supports training”; these are manufacturer-listed features, not independent test results.
WatchPro reported three color options: black, dark green with orange accents, and sand with a black bezel. Casio’s linked regional pages identify specific models, including the GDG-B100-1A3 and Singapore’s GDG-B100-1A5. The available information does not establish performance differences between colors.

When the GDG-B100 MUDMAN will be available
Release timing depends on the market. Casio’s Japan product listings give October 2026 as the release month for listed variants and a price of ¥38,500 including tax. Casio Singapore’s product page for the GDG-B100-1A5 says “COMING SOON 11/2026.” Those regional listings do not establish one worldwide release date, broad stock availability or a confirmed general retail date.
