Tissot introduced three Seastar 1000 Quartz models in 40mm in 2023: black, blue, and black with gold detailing. They share a Swiss-made quartz movement with a date and low-battery end-of-life indicator, a unidirectional bezel, and Tissot’s stated 300-metre water-resistance rating. Their main differences are the dial and bezel colors and the supplied bracelet or strap.
The three 40mm quartz models
Tissot positioned the 40mm quartz Seastar 1000 between the collection’s 36mm and 45.5mm sizes. The launch comprised three color and strap combinations:

Tissot’s announcement confirms the colorways, supplied bracelet or strap, quick-change system, and movement functions. Fratello identifies the quartz caliber as ETA F06.412. Shared specifications
Fratello reported a 40mm-wide, 10mm-thick steel case, 20mm lug width, and sapphire crystal. Tissot specifies water resistance of 1,000 feet, or 30 ATM / 300 metres, and a unidirectional rotating bezel intended for timing underwater activity. That depth rating is the manufacturer’s specification; it is not an independently verified test result.

The quartz movement provides time and date. Its end-of-life indicator signals when the battery is running low, giving the wearer notice that replacement is due. Tissot describes the strap system as interchangeable, but that does not establish that any 20mm aftermarket strap will fit: check compatibility with the exact watch reference and attachment system before ordering.

Tissot also lists a 40mm Seastar 1000 Powermatic 80 automatic, reference T120.807.22.051.01. It is a separate model, not one of the 2023 quartz trio. The current US product page lists an 80-hour power reserve, 20mm lug width, 300m water resistance, and a quick-release bracelet for that automatic reference.
