Tissot’s PRX Skeleton Damian Lillard Special Edition is the watch behind the “Pocket PRX” idea: a 44 mm hand-wound PRX wristwatch whose strap can be removed so the case fits into an included leather pocket case and chain. Swatch’s Royal Pop is a separate collection of eight colorful Bioceramic pocket watches inspired by Audemars Piguet’s Royal Oak and Swatch POP. They meet in format and visual ambition, but they are not equivalent watches: their movements, materials, sales channels and intended presentation differ.
What exactly is Tissot’s Pocket PRX?
The model is the Tissot PRX Skeleton Damian Lillard Special Edition, reference T137.405.17.371.00. Tissot gives it a 44 mm tonneau-shaped case in 316L stainless steel, a skeletonized dial, sapphire crystal and a hand-wound mechanical movement with up to 52 hours of power reserve. Water resistance is rated at 100 m (10 bar).

What makes the Damian Lillard edition different?
Burgundy details identify the collaboration, while the small-seconds display at 9 o’clock uses a gold-colored “D” motif with two vertical lines, a reference to Lillard’s “Dame D.O.L.L.A.” identity. Tissot also describes the rubber strap’s milk-crate pattern as a nod to the basketball hoops of his childhood.

The package includes a burgundy rubber strap with pin buckle, a burgundy leather strap with folding clasp, and the leather pocket case with chain. That gives the owner three practical ways to carry the same mechanical watch: on the wrist with either strap, or in a pocket or bag after conversion.
How does the Tissot convert from a wristwatch to pocket carry?
- Remove the fitted strap. The pocket case is designed to accept the watch case once the wrist strap is off.
- Seat the watch in the leather case. The case protects the watch while changing its carrying format.
- Attach the chain. The chain lets you connect the case to a pocket or bag rather than wearing it on the wrist.
This is a conversion accessory, not a claim that the PRX has become a traditional, permanently configured pocket watch. Switching back to wrist wear requires refitting one of the supplied straps.

What is Swatch’s Royal Pop?
Royal Pop is an Audemars Piguet x Swatch collection launched on May 16, 2026. Swatch presents eight statement-making Bioceramic pocket watches that combine Royal Oak-inspired geometry with the modular carry concept associated with Swatch POP.
The collection uses octagonal bezel geometry, eight hexagonal screws and a “Tapisserie” dial effect. Swatch Group says the cases use Bioceramic composed of two-thirds ceramic powder and one-third biosourced material derived from castor oil. Sapphire crystals appear on the front and back, with anti-reflective coating.

How are Royal Pop watches carried?

Swatch’s U.S. Royal Pop page directs customers to selected Swatch stores. The brand says sales may pause locally when queues exceed store limits and applies a one-watch-per-person-per-store-per-day rule. Swatch also says the collection is expected to remain available for several months; that is an availability expectation, not a guarantee that a particular store has stock on a given day.

Choose the Tissot if you want one mechanical watch with two identities
The PRX is the more conventional choice for someone who primarily wants a wristwatch, but occasionally wants pocket carry. Its stainless-steel case, sapphire crystal, 100 m water-resistance rating and two straps make it a technical wristwatch first, with the leather case and chain adding a practical alternate format.

Choose Royal Pop if the pocket-watch format is the point
Royal Pop is built around pocket carry, bold color and the visual conversation between Royal Oak shapes and Swatch POP accessories. Its appeal is the collection’s playful modular presentation rather than a PRX-style wristwatch adapted with an extra case.
What should buyers verify before purchasing?
- Confirm the current price in your country; the $2,075 figure applies to Tissot’s U.S. listing.
- Check whether your local Swatch store is participating and accepting sales that day.
- Verify the exact Royal Pop model’s included lanyards and accessories.
