Titoni Airmaster: Two References, Two Different Watches

Titoni’s Airmaster is a collection, not one watch. Compare the titanium 73906 T-ST-723 chronometer with the steel 83906 S-701 date model.

“Titoni Airmaster” is a collection, not one fixed watch specification. The 43 mm titanium 73906 T-ST-723 is a COSC-certified chronometer with 10 ATM stated water resistance; the 40.5 mm steel 83906 S-701 adds a date and has 5 ATM stated water resistance. Those differences matter more than the shared collection name.

This is a specification-led overview, not a hands-on review: no physical examination or independent testing of either reference is available here. Fit, comfort, legibility, finishing, accuracy and real-world water resistance therefore cannot be assessed.

What “Titoni Airmaster” means

Titoni’s US gents collection listing includes Airmaster models from 38.5 mm to 43 mm, so a review or buying decision needs an exact reference. Case dimensions, materials, display, movement certification and water-resistance rating vary across the range.

The two references detailed here illustrate that spread. Specifications and US catalog prices below are those published by TITONI AG and accessed in 2026; prices and stock can change, and catalog prices are not necessarily transaction prices.

#1 Best Overall
WTI WORLD TIME INTERNATIONAL WW2 Military Watch - Vintage Luftwaffe Aviator Watch, Swiss-Quartz Movement with Genuine Leather Strap and 10 ATM Water Resistant
  • History in Your Hands - Wear a World War 2 Watch similar to that worn by soldiers during one of the humanity’s most trying times. The Flieger watches used by the Luftwaffe, the Third Reich´s air force, during WWII were an essential part of the equipment of the German bombers. Your watch is a connection to real lives and untold stories.
  • Vintage Design combined with Modern Technology - This watch has a Highly Accurate Quartz Movement, three-hander with luminous hands, 42 mm wide round stainless-steel case with mineral crystal. This luxury piece has a water resistance of 10 ATM (means apron 100 meters waterproof for swimming or snorkeling).
  • Designed by Experts - The watch has been designed to be as close as possible to the original watches used during the War. Faithful reflection of the original watch, the steel back cover and the side are engraved with the production and navigation codes of the original watch (FI 23883).
  • Collector's edition - Expand your collection or historical display by adding similar watches to those operated (worn) by the real protagonists from all around the world during World War II. Each watch tells the story of a country's soldiers and the tragedy of war. Each of them corresponds to a limited series, of which only 500 units have been produced and engraved with the corresponding numbering (001/500, 002/500...).
  • Gift Box Included - Receive your watch protected by a nice cloth watch pouch, which comes inside a luxurious box. Perfect to give as a pleasant surprise to a loved one. All package includes a brief description of the watch's history and technical features and the factory warranty.

73906 T-ST-723: titanium chronometer

  • Case: 43 mm titanium.
  • Strap and dial: leather strap; black dial with Super-LumiNova-filled Arabic indexes.
  • Movement and display: automatic Sellita SW200-1 chronometer; three hands.
  • Crystal and protection: sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides; antimagnetic protection stated to 500 Gauss.
  • Water resistance: 10 ATM, as listed by Titoni; this figure is not an independent test result.
  • US list price: $2,300.

Titoni describes the chronometer as COSC-certified and says it is designed for instant readability, “a must for any pilot’s watch.” That is the manufacturer’s characterization, not an independent legibility assessment. The 500 Gauss figure is likewise the brand’s stated protection level; no separate test data is available here.

At 43 mm, this is the larger of the two compared models, and its titanium case and leather strap distinguish it from the steel-bracelet alternative. Whether its dimensions or strap suit a particular wrist cannot be determined from the specifications alone.

83906 S-701: steel with date

  • Case and bracelet: 40.5 mm stainless steel with a steel bracelet.
  • Dial and display: blue Arabic dial; three hands plus date.
  • Movement: automatic Sellita SW200-1.
  • Crystal: sapphire with anti-reflective coating.
  • Water resistance: 5 ATM, as listed by Titoni.
  • US list price and stock: $1,395; the product page showed it out of stock when accessed in 2026.

The S-701 is smaller than the titanium chronometer and includes a date, but has a lower stated water-resistance rating. Titoni’s product page does not identify this reference as a chronometer. A separate January 2023 specification sheet for the related S-700 gives a 40.50 mm case, 47.10 mm lug-to-lug length and 5 ATM rating; those dimensions belong to the S-700, not the S-701, and should not be assumed for it.

How the two references compare

Feature 73906 T-ST-723 83906 S-701
Case size and material 43 mm titanium 40.5 mm stainless steel
Strap or bracelet Leather strap Steel bracelet
Movement Automatic Sellita SW200-1 chronometer Automatic Sellita SW200-1
Display Three hands Three hands and date
Water resistance 10 ATM, manufacturer-listed 5 ATM, manufacturer-listed
Crystal Sapphire, anti-reflective coating on both sides Sapphire, anti-reflective coating
US list price at access in 2026 $2,300 $1,395; page showed out of stock

The comparison is between these exact configurations, not a verdict on every Airmaster. The collection page listed US catalog prices from $1,125 to $2,300 at access in 2026, but that range does not establish what any model sells for at retailers or whether it is currently available.

Choosing between them

  • Consider the 73906 T-ST-723 if you want the larger titanium-and-leather configuration, a three-hand display, and the chronometer designation with the higher manufacturer-listed water-resistance rating.
  • Consider the 83906 S-701 if you prefer a smaller steel case with a bracelet and date display, and its 5 ATM rating meets your needs. Check current stock because Titoni’s page showed it out of stock at access.
  • Verify the reference before buying. The Airmaster name covers multiple sizes and specifications. Match the full reference, dial, case size and strap or bracelet to the listing rather than relying on collection imagery.

The published specifications do not establish comparative accuracy, power reserve, comfort, finishing quality or independent water resistance. Nor do they provide competitor pricing or independent performance evidence with which to make a broader value claim.

Airmaster heritage

Titoni says, “The Airmaster can trace its roots back to the first human landing on the moon in 1969.” This is the manufacturer’s account of the collection’s history; it should be understood as Titoni’s heritage claim, rather than an independently corroborated connection.
