How big is the Tudor Black Bay 58 Bronze?
Tudor lists a 39 mm case diameter, 11.9 mm thickness and 20 mm lug width. Those dimensions keep the watch relatively compact for a 200 m-rated diver-style watch, but case size alone cannot predict fit: wrist shape, bracelet sizing and personal preference all matter. What strap comes with the Black Bay 58 Bronze?
The watch comes with both a bronze bracelet and a brown-bronze woven fabric strap. The fabric strap has a yellow center line and bronze buckle, giving the buyer a second look without needing to buy an additional strap. The bracelet is satin-brushed bronze and includes rivet-like details. Its T-fit clasp provides an instant 8 mm adjustment range, useful for small changes in fit without removing links. The 20 mm lug width may make other straps worth considering, but third-party strap fit, quality and hardware compatibility should be checked for the specific product.

Does the bronze bracelet develop a patina?
Yes. Tudor says the case changes color according to the wearer’s habits and environment, and that its high-performance aluminum-bronze alloy is corrosion-resistant while still developing patina. The case and bracelet use the same alloy and are intended to age in unison. The result is a changing appearance, not a defect or a uniform color guaranteed across every watch. Tudor describes the finish as evolving rapidly with its surroundings and says its manufacturing, assembly and final tests are carried out with meticulous care. What is it like to wear?
In a 2021 hands-on review, Fratello Watches’ reviewer said the 39 mm model wore comfortably on their 19 cm wrist and assessed it with both the bracelet and supplied strap. The reviewer praised the bronze-and-brown aesthetic, but found the bracelet’s faux rivets decorative rather than functional. The boutique-only route was another trade-off noted by that reviewer: access can be inconvenient for buyers who do not live near a Tudor boutique. Boutique exclusivity may also mean stock varies by location, so the product page alone does not establish that a particular boutique has one available.

Tudor’s current product page lists CHF 4,750 as a suggested retail price and identifies the model as boutique-exclusive. That figure is specific to the page and market context at the time it was accessed; it is not a universal local price or confirmation of current stock. How it differs from other bronze and Black Bay models
The 79012M is not simply a bronze configuration of every Black Bay Fifty-Eight. Tudor separately lists a 43 mm Black Bay Bronze, while Fratello’s review also discusses the Black Bay 58 925, a model distinguished by its silver case material. Those are separate watches, not alternate sizes or materials available under reference 79012M.
