TWCO’s Air Controller and Salvage Diver are distinct tool-watch designs, not interchangeable versions of the same watch. In Worn & Wound’s 2015 and 2016 reviews, both share a 43 mm case, 51 mm lug-to-lug length, 14 mm thickness, 22 mm lug width, and Miyota 9015 movement. The Air Controller is the pilot-style option with a marked bidirectional bezel; the Salvage Diver is a dual-crown dive watch with an internal countdown bezel and a higher stated water-resistance rating. Those reviews are historical, so their prices and specifications should not be treated as current listings.
What does “TWCO” mean in this review?
TWCO refers to Technical Watch Company, a Netherlands-based micro-brand. The available review coverage concerns two specific models: the Air Controller and the Salvage Diver. Because “TWCO Review” does not name a single model, comparing those watches is more useful than presenting either as a review of the brand’s current range.
The model details below come from Worn & Wound reviews published in 2015 and 2016. They document what those reviews described at the time; they do not establish present-day stock, ownership, warranty terms, or specifications.

What is the Air Controller like?
Worn & Wound’s July 2015 review presents the Air Controller as a pilot-oriented tool watch with a practical twist: its bidirectional bezel carries both count-up and count-down markings. The bold dial includes an A-10 aircraft image, a detail the reviewer found potentially extraneous rather than essential to the watch’s function.
The reviewer praised its engineering and H-link bracelet and reported comfortable wear on a 6.75-inch wrist. The same review criticized the lume as lackluster. These are the reviewer’s impressions, not independent test results, and wrist comfort can vary with wrist shape and fit.

What is the Salvage Diver like?
The Salvage Diver uses two crowns: one for the watch’s controls and one for its internal bidirectional countdown bezel. Its subdued styling is a contrast to the Air Controller’s aircraft-emblazoned dial. Worn & Wound’s 2016 review praised the Salvage Diver’s legibility, case finishing, bracelet, and comfortable wear, while describing it as a substantial watch.
The reviewer also called out the off-center date and snug bracelet end-pieces, which could make removing the bracelet difficult. In his September 30, 2016 review, Christoph McNeill concluded: “To answer the question I asked at the beginning of this piece, the TWCO Salvage Diver certainly does stand up to scrutiny.” That is McNeill’s assessment of the watch in that review, not a current availability or condition check.

Which TWCO model makes more sense?
- Choose the Air Controller for its pilot-watch character: its external bezel offers both count-up and count-down markings, and the dial makes the aircraft theme unmistakable.
- Consider the Salvage Diver for a more restrained look: its internal countdown bezel and dual-crown layout give it a different tool-watch identity, while its stated water resistance is higher.
- Check the dimensions against your preferences: both reviews report a 43 mm diameter, 51 mm lug-to-lug length, and 14 mm thickness. Those shared measurements make neither a small watch, though the Air Controller reviewer found it comfortable on a 6.75-inch wrist.
- Inspect any specific watch before buying: the reviews are years old and do not confirm current stock, condition, service history, parts availability, or present warranty coverage.
Are TWCO prices and specifications current?
No current price or availability is established by these reviews. The Air Controller’s approximately €818.18 (about $750 excluding VAT) is from 2015; the Salvage Diver’s approximately $880 MSRP is from 2016. Treat both as historical context only. Likewise, the water-resistance ratings and other specifications above are those reported in the period reviews, not independently verified specifications for a current production watch or a particular pre-owned example.
