Propstore’s 2026 London Fall James Bond auction lists two very different Omega watches: a Tomorrow Never Dies prop watch with no movement, and a functional Spectre Limited Edition Seamaster 300 that Propstore identifies as a consumer watch, not a film-used prop. Both listings were scheduled to close on October 27, 2026. Here’s what each lot includes and what bidders should check.
How the two Omega lots differ
| Detail | Lot 284: Tomorrow Never Dies | Lot 366: Spectre Limited Edition |
|---|---|---|
| Object type | Cataloged as James Bond’s Omega Seamaster Diver 300M prop watch from the 1997 film. | Consumer OMEGA Spectre Limited Edition Seamaster 300; Propstore says it was not film-used. |
| Provenance and context | Propstore says it was one of two prop watches displayed at a Tomorrow Never Dies publicity event at Jaeger’s Regent Street flagship. After the event, one was sold and this example was gifted to an employee in 2003. | Includes a card signed by Daniel Craig. Propstore says the autographs were professionally authenticated by Jean-Michel Hall of The Bond Archives. |
| Function and features | Metal band, blue face, screw-in crown, helium escape valve, serial number 1503/825 and a tag marked “67.” The catalog says it has no movement. | Stainless-steel case, black ceramic bidirectional bezel with a 12-hour Liquidmetal scale, rhodium-plated hands with blue-emitting Super-Luminova, lollipop central seconds hand, five-stripe black-and-gray NATO strap, and “007” engraved on the strap holder. The listing identifies its movement as calibre 8400. |
| Documentation | Propstore Certificate of Authenticity. | Signed card; a Bond Archives certificate may be purchased by the successful bidder. |
| Propstore estimate | £5,000–£10,000. | £8,000–£16,000. |
| Displayed bid when accessed October 7, 2026 | £4,000, one bid. | £6,000, one bid. |
The bids are snapshots from Propstore’s catalog, not final prices or market valuations; they may change before the lots close. See the Lot 284 listing and Lot 366 listing for current information.
Lot 284: a Tomorrow Never Dies prop watch
Propstore describes this as the Omega Seamaster Diver 300M worn by Pierce Brosnan’s James Bond throughout the 1997 film. In the film’s story, a Chinese spy retrofits Bond’s watch with a remote detonator. The catalog’s specific provenance, however, concerns a publicity display and subsequent gift: it does not establish that this particular example is the one used on camera.
The distinction matters to collectors: the watch is cataloged as a prop, but its documented path is through a publicity event, then a gift to an employee in 2003. It has no movement, so it should not be treated as a working Seamaster. The lot includes a Propstore Certificate of Authenticity.

Lot 366: a Spectre consumer limited edition
This is a different kind of Bond-associated Omega: a Spectre Limited Edition Seamaster 300, not a film-used watch. Propstore says the edition was limited to 7,007 models and lists calibre 8400. The distinctive details include a black-and-gray NATO strap with “007” on its holder and a lollipop seconds hand.
The lot comes with a card signed by Daniel Craig. Propstore states the autographs were professionally authenticated by Jean-Michel Hall of The Bond Archives; a Bond Archives certificate is available for purchase by the successful bidder. That additional certificate is optional, not described as included with the lot.

Auction dates, bids and buyer costs
Propstore’s catalog gives the auction window as October 6–27, 2026, with both Omega lots scheduled to close October 27. The listings say a bid placed in the final minute adds five minutes to the closing timer, so the stated close time may move if late bidding occurs. Confirm live status and the lot’s current bid on Propstore before acting.
Propstore advises bidders to request a shipping quote. Buyers are responsible for shipping and any applicable duties, taxes, VAT, customs charges and other costs. The sale conditions say lots are sold in their auction condition and generally as-is. Review the current terms, the listing’s attribution language and destination-specific costs before bidding; the catalog also describes limits on claims about specific on-camera use and the scope of its attribution guarantee.
