The white dial is reference 3203-136-2/E0-42; the black is 3203-136-2/E2. Its reported launch price was EUR 8,800 / CHF 8,800. That is the 2018 price, not a current valuation: Ulysse Nardin now marks the white reference as no longer available, and the sources here do not establish current resale prices or stock.
What changed for the SIHH 2018 Grand Feu
The 2018 Classico Manufacture Grand Feu kept a conventional dress-watch display—central hours and minutes, small seconds at six, and a date—while adding two enamel dial choices to the 40 mm steel model. The presentation was restrained rather than sporty: elongated Roman numerals and leaf-shaped hands sit on either a white or black dial.
Monochrome Watches’ 2018 hands-on report describes curved lugs that recess where they meet the case and a screwed plate on the left side. It also notes that the white date disc stands out particularly clearly against the black dial, a contrast that may or may not suit the wearer. These details and the black-reference information come from the 2018 report; Ulysse Nardin’s current product record corroborates the white reference and case size.

The dimensions, water resistance, strap, and launch price are launch-era figures reported by Monochrome Watches in 2018. The current Ulysse Nardin record for the white reference confirms the 40 mm size and the UN-320’s listed functions and movement figures; it does not establish current specifications for the black reference beyond the 2018 report.

The UN-320: automatic winding, date correction and silicon
The UN-320 is an automatic in-house caliber. Ulysse Nardin’s current caliber information lists 227 parts, 39 jewels, a 26.4 mm diameter, a 4 Hz frequency (28,800 vibrations per hour), a 48-hour power reserve, and a silicon escapement. Its record for the white reference also lists a silicon escapement and the hours, minutes, small-seconds, and date display.
In its 2018 account, Monochrome describes the movement as having a silicon hairspring and anchor escapement, with rapid date correction in both directions. It reports circular Geneva stripes, blued screws, an engraved rotor, and polished bridge bevels as visible decoration. The movement’s 48-hour reserve means it can run for roughly two days when fully wound and left unworn, although actual running time depends on use and winding.

What Grand Feu enamel entails
Monochrome’s description of the dial-making process explains why enamel is a distinctive alternative to a conventional printed dial. Enamel powder is laid down in several layers, kiln-fired, polished, flattened, and hand-printed. The process carries a risk of cracks or bubbles forming between layers; Monochrome notes that such flaws are especially visible on black enamel. This is the publication’s account of the process, not a claim that every dial has a visible defect.

Monochrome reported a launch price of EUR 8,800 / CHF 8,800 for the 2018 models, which were described as regular-collection watches rather than limited editions. The figure should be read as historical launch pricing, not as a present-day asking price or estimate of value.

Ulysse Nardin’s current page for the white reference says it “has found its collectors and is no longer available.” That statement concerns the manufacturer’s listing for reference 3203-136-2/E0-42; it does not establish whether either dial variant can be found from independent sellers. No current secondary-market inventory, verified transaction prices, or condition data are established by the cited sources.
For an individual example, compare the precise reference and dial color, condition, service history, whether box and papers are included, and the asking price against verified comparable transactions. Without those comparisons, neither the 2018 launch price nor an unverified listing is a reliable measure of current market value.
