The evening brought together friends, family, the team and founders for a look back at the publication’s history, a founder panel, three special-edition reveals and a round of watch spotting.
Inside Time+Tide’s anniversary gathering
Time+Tide’s recap, published on 18 January 2024, describes an anniversary evening at the Melbourne Watch Discovery Studio. More than 100 people attended, according to the publication. The gathering was framed around the community behind the milestone rather than as a product showcase or buying event.
Andrew and Marcus recounted the publication’s path, beginning with an early video they made together. Their stories included a chocolate-dipped Panerai and Russell Crowe’s collection clear-out, before bringing the timeline up to the opening of the Watch Discovery Studio.
The evening also recognised members of the team. Zach spoke about starting at Time+Tide and searching for his first Spring Drive.

Three special editions were revealed
The event included the reveal of three T+T 10 special editions associated with Baltic, Furlan Marri and Studio Underd0g. The recap said full details would follow, but did not identify the exact edition names or provide specifications, prices, release status or current availability. The announcement alone is not enough to compare or assess the watches.
A founder panel and the watches spotted
A short founder panel closed the formal program. The recap noted that the founders had taken different paths and situated them in the micro and independent watch scene, then moved on to watches worn or shown at the gathering.
