The Mk II Stingray II Keroman is a 40 mm automatic dive watch inspired by a 1950s Marine Nationale-issued design. Its 200 m water-resistance rating and Mk II’s limited testing claim should not be mistaken for full ISO 6425 compliance: Mk II says it tests the water-resistance portion of that standard, and an independent review says the watch is not officially ISO 6425 certified.
What the Keroman name and design refer to
Mk II describes the Stingray as a homage to a dive-watch design issued to the French Marine Nationale in the 1950s. The Stingray II revives a model the company produced earlier. Mk II says the newer case was reduced from 42 mm to 40 mm while retaining details drawn from military dive-watch cases and the brand’s own experience.
“Keroman” refers to a peninsula near Lorient, France. In its review, Fratello connects the name with a German submarine base built during World War II and later repurposed by the French Navy. That historical context comes from the independent review, rather than Mk II’s product specifications.
Dimensions and wrist fit
| Specification | Mk II listing |
|---|---|
| Case width | 40.00 mm |
| Thickness | 14.70 mm |
| End-to-end length | 48.50 mm |
| Lug width | 20.00 mm |
| Weight | 84 g |
Fratello’s reviewer reported that the watch fit their 16 cm wrist. That is a single wearer’s experience, not a guarantee of fit; the 48.50 mm end-to-end measurement and 14.70 mm thickness are useful figures to compare with a watch you already wear.

Movement and everyday operation
Mk II lists a Japanese SII NE15 automatic movement with a quickset date, hacking seconds and manual winding. It gives a 50-hour power reserve. Fratello identifies the caliber as the Seiko NE15C and reports a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, as well as the same 50-hour reserve. The power-reserve figure is the stated specification, not a guarantee of how long every individual watch will run under every condition.

What 200 m water resistance does—and does not—mean
Mk II specifies 20 ATM / 200 m water resistance and says each watch is wet-tested for water resistance and thermal shock. The manufacturer explicitly limits its ISO 6425 testing claim to the water-resistance portion of the standard. Fratello likewise states that the Stingray II is not officially ISO 6425 certified. It is therefore inaccurate to describe it as an ISO-certified diver on the evidence available.
A depth rating and full dive-watch standard compliance are different claims. The 200 m figure is Mk II’s stated water-resistance rating; it does not establish that the watch has passed every requirement in ISO 6425. Buyers who require formal certification should look for a maker’s explicit certification statement rather than treating the rating alone as proof.

Aluminum or acrylic: what to check before buying
The main stated configuration choice is the bezel inlay: aluminum or vintage-style acrylic. Current stock and pricing can change. Mk II’s Ready to Wear collection currently marks the aluminum version sold out and lists it from $805.50; check the live collection before making a purchase decision. The product page also presents a scratch-and-dent listing and a future-release note dated October 2024, neither of which establishes a current restock date.
For context only, Fratello’s June 21, 2023 review gave historical retail prices of US$895 for the aluminum version and US$940 for acrylic. Those dated figures are not current price guidance.
