OMEGA identified Daniel Craig’s Paris 2024 Olympics watch as a stainless-steel, black version of the updated 42 mm Seamaster Diver 300M series. It was not the Bronze Gold and Burgundy model OMEGA announced in February 2025: that was a separate release.
Which Seamaster did Daniel Craig wear at the Olympics?
Craig was photographed wearing the black Seamaster at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. OMEGA’s 21 November 2024 announcement identified it as a stainless-steel version from its new Diver 300M series, whose design takes inspiration from the Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition worn in No Time to Die. OMEGA says the collection itself dates to 1993.
Before the official identification, the watch drew attention for its black wave-pattern dial, mesh bracelet and lack of a date display. Time+Tide reported that observers initially thought it might be the Seamaster 60 Years of Bond Edition, but quoted OMEGA confirming that a new watch had appeared on Craig’s wrist. OMEGA said: “Watch fans might also have spotted a new Omega watch on Daniel’s wrist. The details of the timepiece will be revealed later this year, but for now, the first pictures give a sneak peek of what can be expected.”
OMEGA’s announcement identifying the Paris watch is the clearest source for its model family and materials. The announcement identifies it as stainless steel and black; it does not, in the cited information, establish a specific reference number.

How is it different from the Bronze Gold and Burgundy Seamaster?
The two watches are easy to conflate because both belong to the updated Diver 300M design story and are associated with Craig. But they are different appearances in different contexts: OMEGA identified the black stainless-steel watch at the 2024 Olympics, then announced a Bronze Gold and Burgundy model on 19 February 2025. Fratello associated the latter release with Craig’s later Governors Awards appearance, not the Olympics.
| Detail | Paris Olympics watch | Bronze Gold and Burgundy release |
|---|---|---|
| Context | Seen on Craig at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games; identified by OMEGA in November 2024. | Announced by OMEGA on 19 February 2025; associated by Fratello with Craig’s later Governors Awards appearance. |
| Appearance and material | Stainless steel, black version. | 42 mm Bronze Gold case, burgundy bezel ring and matte black dial. |
| Configurations specified in the announcement | Not stated in the cited identification. | Brushed Bronze Gold mesh bracelet with foldover clasp, or integrated black rubber strap with Bronze Gold buckle. |
OMEGA’s Bronze Gold and Burgundy announcement and Fratello’s coverage of the release concern this later model, not the Olympics watch.

- Omega Seamaster Automatic Chronometer Black Dial Men's Watch 210.30.42.20.01.001
What are the Bronze Gold and Burgundy model’s specifications?
OMEGA describes the later model as having a 42 mm Bronze Gold case and a burgundy oxalic-anodised aluminium bezel ring with a diving scale in vintage Super-LumiNova. Its matte black sandblasted aluminium dial has PVD 18K Bronze Gold hands and blackened indexes, also filled with vintage Super-LumiNova. Both versions use Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806, visible through a sapphire caseback. OMEGA says METAS certifies the Master Chronometer tests.
OMEGA says its Bronze Gold alloy contains 37.5% gold and is hallmarked as 9K, with palladium and silver. The company says the alloy is designed to resist corrosion without verdigris oxidation and to develop patina slowly; these are OMEGA’s stated material and aging claims.

Why do newer Diver 300M models look different?
OMEGA says the updated series takes design cues from the 007 Edition, including mesh-bracelet styling and domed sapphire crystal. That does not mean every Diver 300M has the same materials, dial, bracelet or equipment. The black stainless-steel Olympics watch and the Bronze Gold and Burgundy announcement are distinct configurations; use the specific release when checking a model’s details.
Neither the cited announcements nor the coverage establishes a current price or availability for these watches, so a price or purchasing claim cannot be inferred from the releases alone.
