Withings made the BPM Vision blood pressure monitor available in the US on April 2, 2025, at an introductory price of $149.95. As of August 16, 2026, Withings’ US product page listed it in stock for $179.95. The connected upper-arm monitor adds a 2.8-inch color screen, on-device guidance and a three-reading measurement sequence; ECG is listed for Europe only, not the US model.
US launch date, price and availability
Withings announced US availability on April 2, 2025, with an original direct-launch price of $149.95. The company said Amazon and selected retail partners were expected to receive the device in May 2025. Its US launch announcement records those launch details.
Withings’ US product page listed BPM Vision at $179.95 and in stock when checked August 16, 2026. Retail inventory and prices can change; that figure is the direct listing at that date, not a guaranteed price elsewhere.
What BPM Vision measures and how it works
In the US, BPM Vision measures systolic and diastolic blood pressure and heart rate. Its 2.8-inch color LCD displays results, while EasyTrack provides on-device guidance. TripleTrust takes three consecutive measurements and presents the readings and their average. The screen’s color cues are designed to make ranges easier to interpret, but they are not a diagnosis.

The monitor can send readings to the Withings app over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Withings lists support for up to eight users, so household members should select the correct profile before a session to keep their histories separate. The current US product page identifies ECG as Europe only; the US listing does not establish ECG or atrial-fibrillation detection for this model.
FDA clearance and clinical-validation claims
Withings describes BPM Vision as FDA-cleared. The company’s clinical-studies page reports validation involving 91 participants under ISO 81060-2:2018+A1:2020. In the described comparison, three device readings were compared with three reference measurements using the Korotkoff method and two qualified observers. Withings reports mean errors of 0.2 mmHg for systolic pressure and 0.76 mmHg for diastolic pressure.

Those are manufacturer-reported study results, not a promise that every reading at home will fall within those amounts or match a clinician’s equipment. FDA clearance and validation do not make the monitor infallible or prove it superior to every alternative. Withings says a pregnancy-specific validation study is underway, so the cited general study should not be taken as evidence of pregnancy-specific validation.
Cuff fit, battery and app requirements
- Included standard cuff: 8.7–16.5 inches (22–42 cm) arm circumference.
- Optional XL cuff: 15.8–20.5 inches (40–52 cm); listed for $19.95 on the US product page checked August 16, 2026.
- Battery: Rechargeable, with up to 12 months of use; charging is by USB-C.
- Storage: Up to 16 measurements between synchronizations, according to Withings.
Measure your upper arm before buying, especially if you are near a cuff’s range boundary. Withings lists the XL cuff separately, so confirm what a retailer’s package includes. A cuff that does not fit correctly can compromise measurement quality.

An iOS or Android phone is required for initial setup; a computer cannot set up the device. After setup, a phone does not need to be beside the monitor for every measurement because readings can sync over Wi-Fi. There is a documentation discrepancy worth checking before purchase: the current product page lists iOS 18 or later and Android 12 or later, while the product guide lists iOS 15 or later and Android 9 or later. Check current app compatibility for your phone rather than relying on the older guide’s minimums.
Using it for a useful home reading
- Charge the monitor, install the Withings app on a compatible phone, sign in or create an account, add BPM Vision and follow the app’s pairing and Wi-Fi setup.
- Choose the correct user profile and cuff size. Before measuring, rest quietly; sit with your back supported and feet flat, and support your arm at heart level.
- Place the cuff on your bare upper arm. Stay still and quiet while the monitor completes its three-reading sequence.
- Review the individual readings and average, then confirm they are assigned to the right profile. Sync to the app when connected.
For consistent readings, use the same careful posture and preparation each time. Cuff placement and fit, movement, talking, and inadequate rest can affect results; a multi-reading sequence does not eliminate those sources of variation. Treat color feedback as an aid, not a diagnosis, and follow medical advice for concerning readings.

Phone, app and subscription: what is required
Core measurement and access to basic data in the Withings app do not require Withings+. Withings+ is optional and may be needed for premium guidance, additional health features or certain clinical services. The US product page checked August 16, 2026 advertised one month free for new subscribers, followed by $9.95 per month or $99.50 per year. The trial begins when the device is installed through the mobile app and renews automatically unless canceled; check the live terms before enrolling.

Withings’ comparison page positions BPM Connect as the lower-cost, more portable option. The prices below are listed US prices checked August 16, 2026, and may change.
Best Value
- Extra XL cuff compatible with Withings BPM Vision
- 15.8 - 20.5 inches (40-52 cm)
- BPM Vision is sold separately

| Battery estimate | Up to 12 months | Up to 6 months |
| Design emphasis | Larger display and guided use | Smaller, lighter and more travel-oriented |
The $50 listed premium for Vision buys a more readable screen, on-device coaching, a detachable cuff system and a longer stated battery life—not a different core set of blood-pressure metrics. Connect may suit someone prioritizing portability and cost. Someone who simply needs a home blood-pressure reading may also prefer a conventional upper-arm monitor without an app or account; compare independently validated devices or ask a clinician for a recommendation rather than assuming a connected model is better.
Who should consider it—and important cautions
- Consider BPM Vision if a large display, guided operation, household profiles and automatic tracking matter to you, and your phone meets current app requirements.
- Check another option if you want the lowest-cost or simplest monitor, do not want an app/account ecosystem, or need a cuff outside the listed ranges.
- Ask a healthcare professional if you have a pacemaker or implantable cardioverter-defibrillator: Withings warns these devices can make blood-pressure measurements inconclusive. If you are pregnant and need pregnancy-specific monitoring, the cited Withings information does not establish validation for that use.
A home monitor can help you collect readings to discuss with a clinician; it does not replace medical evaluation or advice.
