The Zenith Defy Skyline Tourbillon Felipe Pantone is a 41 mm stainless-steel limited edition, reference 03.9301.3630/49.I001, with an iridescent sapphire dial and a rainbow-finished tourbillon at six o’clock. What is the Defy Skyline Tourbillon Felipe Pantone?
It is the third watch in ZENITH’s collaboration series with artist Felipe Pantone and his first reinterpretation of a DEFY Skyline model. Announced on 27 August 2024, it combines the Skyline’s octagonal stainless-steel case and faceted bezel with Pantone’s graphic use of colour, light and optical distortion. The edition is limited to 100 pieces.
ZENITH’s product page identifies it by reference 03.9301.3630/49.I001. The launch release said it would be available from 12 September 2024 through ZENITH boutiques and select retailers worldwide; that describes the original launch channels, not present-day inventory. How the dial and tourbillon are designed
The dial is a sapphire disk with concentric micro-engraving and mirror metalization on its reverse. ZENITH describes the resulting shifting colour effect as “Planned Iridescence,” with a moiré-like appearance. The visual effect changes with light and viewing angle; it is a design treatment, not a display complication.

At six o’clock, the tourbillon is framed by a lightning-bolt-shaped bridge, a motif associated with Pantone’s work. Its cage is shaped as a four-pointed star. ZENITH specifies rainbow PVD details on the bridge and cage, while a gradient treatment also appears on the hands, markers and rotor. The tourbillon completes one rotation per minute, according to the launch materials. These descriptions are the manufacturer’s account of the design and construction.

ZENITH’s technical specifications list the El Primero 3630 as automatic, running at 36,000 vibrations per hour (5 Hz), with an approximately 60-hour power reserve. The 10 ATM water-resistance rating is the manufacturer’s stated specification; it is not an independent assessment of the watch’s performance in use. ZENITH’s 2024 launch press kit stated a price of 60,000 CHF / 65,000 EUR. Those are historical launch prices, not a current retail quote or an indication of resale value.
