The Zenith x Time+Tide DEFY Skyline Skeleton White Surfer Ceramic is the third and final release in the brands’ Surfer Trilogy. Released in 2025, reference 49.9309.3620/85.I001 pairs a 41 mm white ceramic case and bracelet with a blue-gradient openworked dial and the automatic El Primero 3620 SK. Time+Tide reported a 100-piece limited edition and a US$19,600 launch price; neither figure establishes current availability or today’s price.
What is the White Surfer Ceramic?
Zenith identifies the watch as the third and final Surfer Trilogy collaboration with Time+Tide. Its official product page describes a white ceramic case and integrated bracelet framing a blue-gradient openworked dial, through which the El Primero 3620 SK is visible: Zenith’s DEFY Skyline Skeleton White Surfer Ceramic page.
The collaboration retains the DEFY Skyline Skeleton format but gives it a brighter, lighter-toned treatment. Time+Tide’s July 3, 2025 launch article describes the change from the earlier editions’ dark, microblasted titanium to brushed white ceramic and an icy-blue gradient. It also reports a light-blue-tinted movement mainplate and luminous details on the bridges and star logo. Those details are Time+Tide’s descriptions of the design, rather than claims about performance.
What changed from the earlier Surfer editions?
The defining change is the move to white ceramic and a pale blue openworked display, replacing the earlier Surfer editions’ dark microblasted titanium look, as described by Time+Tide. This is a change in material and visual character, not evidence that the ceramic edition is objectively better. Its dimensions, movement, and wearing options are useful practical distinctions to consider alongside that design difference.

Specifications and dimensions in this table are reported by Time+Tide’s July 3, 2025 launch article. The 1/10-second display is an indicator, not a chronograph function. The movement’s 5 Hz frequency and 55-hour reserve describe its stated operation; they do not, on their own, establish real-world timing performance or a service interval.
How do the bracelet and strap options work?
The watch comes on an integrated white ceramic bracelet and includes a white rubber strap with a folding pin buckle. Time+Tide reports a button-operated quick-change system for switching between them. The bracelet gives the case a continuous integrated profile; the rubber strap offers a different feel and appearance without changing the watch’s movement or functions.

At 41 mm across and 46.3 mm lug-to-lug, the published measurements offer a useful starting point for judging fit, but they cannot guarantee how the integrated shape will sit on a particular wrist. Try it on if fit is decisive, especially if you have not worn a similar integrated-bracelet case.

- Match the listing to reference 49.9309.3620/85.I001; similar DEFY Skyline Skeleton models may differ in material, dial, or reference.
- Ask the seller to confirm whether the ceramic bracelet and white rubber strap are both included, and to explain the condition of the watch and clasp.
- Confirm present availability and the current price directly with the seller or a Zenith boutique. The 2025 launch price and one later indexed shop snapshot are not live market-wide inventory information.
- Try the 41 mm case and integrated bracelet on where possible; published dimensions cannot substitute for wrist fit.
