Wind it by hand
Cartier specifies daily manual winding and around 38 hours of power reserve. The reserve describes the approximate running time after winding, not a two-day winding schedule: Cartier’s instruction is to wind the watch each day. Its user guide for the extra-large manual-winding Santos-Dumont says to push the crown into the case and turn it clockwise. Stop when fully wound; Cartier cautions against overwinding.
A thin, restrained dress-watch profile
At 7.5 mm thick, the case has a comparatively slim profile in its stated dimensions. The dial keeps to hours and minutes, with Roman numerals and blued sword hands rather than additional complications. The large-model designation does not replace the measurements: the case is 46.6 mm long and 33.9 mm wide, so those dimensions are useful to compare with a watch already comfortable on your wrist.

Water resistance has limits
Cartier rates the watch at 3 bar, approximately 30 metres. Read that as basic resistance to incidental exposure rather than a sports-watch rating. The leather strap is another reason to avoid treating this as a watch for regular water activities.
