Presented in 2022 as a 250-piece limited edition, it is a distinctive take on the luxury sports watch—but the available specifications do not establish that it is the ultimate in its segment. Lange currently lists it as boutique-exclusive with a price upon request.
What is different about the titanium Odysseus?
Reference 363.117 was presented at Watches and Wonders 2022. Its titanium case measures 40.5 mm in diameter and 11.1 mm thick, with a sapphire caseback, 36 mm lug distance and a titanium bracelet. The stated water resistance is 12 bar. A. Lange & Söhne lists the watch as a limited edition of 250 pieces.
The watch’s most immediately visible difference is its ice-blue dial. It is made of brass and built in multiple parts, with a layered surface and fine guilloché grooves. On the hour ring, the grooves arc toward the hour markers; a related pattern appears on the subsidiary-seconds scale. Lange says this arrangement gives the dial an embedded appearance and emphasizes its depth.
The polished white-gold hands and notched baton appliqués contain luminous compound. The layout retains the Odysseus’s oversized date and day-of-week displays, giving the dial prominent calendar indications alongside the seconds subdial.

How light is it, and how does the bracelet adjust?
A. Lange & Söhne says titanium makes this Odysseus about 43 percent lighter than the stainless-steel version and describes the lower weight as improving wearing comfort. That is the manufacturer’s comparison; it is not an independent measurement of either watch.
The titanium bracelet closes with a safety deployant buckle. Lange says its precision-stepped adjustment can change the length of the closed bracelet by up to 7 mm. The current product page includes model-specific bracelet adjustment instructions.

What movement and functions does reference 363.117 have?
The watch is powered by the self-winding L155.1 DATOMATIC. The official specification gives it a 50-hour power reserve and a frequency of 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour, or 4 Hz. The movement has 312 parts and drives the oversized date, day-of-week display and subsidiary seconds.
Lange describes the movement as having a skeletonized, partly black-rhodiumed rotor with a 950 platinum centrifugal mass, a hand-engraved balance bridge and twofold assembly. These are the manufacturer’s descriptions of its construction and finishing, rather than independent assessment findings.

Is it the ultimate luxury sports watch in its segment?
“Ultimate” is a matter of priorities, and the available specifications do not support a best-in-class ranking across luxury sports watches. They do show what sets this Odysseus apart within its own family: a titanium case and bracelet, an ice-blue multi-part dial, 12-bar water resistance, a 50-hour automatic movement and an edition limited to 250 pieces.
Those details make reference 363.117 a particularly specific proposition: it combines a lighter case material, a highly worked dial and the Odysseus’s large calendar displays. Whether that combination is preferable to another luxury sports watch depends on what the buyer values; no broader comparative test establishes a winner.

What is the price and availability of the titanium Odysseus?
The current A. Lange & Söhne product page lists the watch as available exclusively in Lange boutiques and gives its price as “Price upon request.” It does not publish a current price. Hodinkee reported a launch list price of $56,500 on March 31, 2022; that is a historical launch figure, not a current quote.
