The Swatch 2Q (²Q, model SS07Z102) is a slim quartz watch tied to Q in No Time to Die—not a watch worn by James Bond. Its distinctive design and film connection make it an appealing Bond collectible, but whether it is worth buying depends heavily on the price and your interest in the character behind it.
What is the Swatch 2Q?
The 2Q is a quartz watch in Swatch’s James Bond collection. Swatch lists it as model SS07Z102, with 3 bar water resistance, a stainless-steel clasp and special packaging. The official product page currently marks it “Permanently sold out everywhere.” That status describes Swatch’s listing; it does not establish whether any particular reseller has stock.
How is it related to James Bond?
The watch is associated with Q, played by Ben Whishaw in No Time to Die. T3 describes the 2Q as based on the watch worn by Q, rather than by Bond himself. That distinction matters: if you are looking for one of Bond’s own screen-worn watches, the 2Q is not that. T3’s October 18, 2024 review discusses the Rolex and Omega models readers may think of first, but the 2Q’s appeal is its Q connection and design, not an objective claim that it outranks those watches.
What does the 2Q look like?
Swatch says Q updated the SKIN Irony design for the watch, adding a red reverse to the strap and complementary blue hands and reel. The official 007 announcement presents the design in the context of the Bond collection.

In his review, T3’s Roland Moore-Colyer describes a patterned brown leather strap with red sides and interior, a skeleton-style view of the quartz movement, and hour and minute hands without a seconds hand. These are the reviewer’s descriptions. He also notes that the slim case takes up a notable amount of wrist space: it feels thin, but does not disappear visually.
What is it like to wear?
Moore-Colyer reports that the 2Q had substantial dial presence despite its slim feel, and that he could wear it with both dressier and casual clothes. He found the strap stiff at first. He also describes the crown as small and the lume as more of an accent than a practical low-light feature. Those impressions come from his week-on-the-wrist review, not an independent test here.

The integrated strap design also limits straightforward strap swaps, according to T3. Do not assume a standard replacement strap will fit; check compatibility for this exact model before buying one.
Is the Swatch 2Q worth buying?
It makes the most sense for someone who specifically likes Q, the film connection or the watch’s distinctive design. As a quartz watch, its case and movement are only part of the purchase: a high price is harder to justify if you are paying mainly for everyday timekeeping rather than the collectible association.

Price context is dated. T3’s October 2024 review referred to an original-era price of roughly £150 and resale asking prices it had observed, including an example around £400; the reviewer was skeptical of that level. Those figures are not current offers or a present-day valuation. Check live listings and compare condition and completeness before deciding what a particular example is worth.
